This anime adapts Masumi Iino's children's book series "The Adventures of Tom the small Cat," with illustrations by Yumiko Imai. Though the film was finished in 1992, economic issues prevented its theatrical release at that time. It was only broadcast on television in certain regions of the country, with occasional local screenings. Later, in 2015, a successful crowdfunding campaign allowed the movie to finally see a theatrical release, and it was subsequently released on Blu-ray.

Takahiro, the owner of Moekko Island, is a depressed young man who has also lost his memories. He is seen as a very unhappy person and believes Rinia will only be a source of trouble. As time passes, Takahiro slowly grows attached to Rinia's earnest attempts to help, and thus a beautiful relationship begins on the quiet island.

Haruka Tsuchiya is an ordinary university student who keeps a pet named Okojo-san. Okojo-san was originally born in a northern mountain region and was brought to a pet shop to be sold. Determined to escape, Okojo-san devised a plan and ended up in Haruka's house. Strange and funny incidents constantly occur around the two, whether involving the people or animals nearby. This is a gag anime where absurdity serves as the main feature of the story.

In a future Tokyo devastated by environmental collapse, a young man named Ken Ando becomes a member of the organization known as DC. Unbeknownst to him, his destiny and the fate of the planet are intertwined with a mysterious mecha from another world.

Characters from Go Nagai's famous works—such as Devilman, Mazinger, and Violence Jack—are suddenly transported into a parody world where they become super deformed versions of themselves. Stuck in this chaotic and whimsical setting, they fight one another as they try to find a way to return to their own universes.

In the Examurai Sengoku anime, the members of the EXILE group are depicted as futuristic samurai who are transported back in time to Japan's sengoku (warring states) period. The anime character renditions of the EXILE members were designed by manga creator Hiroshi Takahashi, known for Crows and Worst.

Some time ago, a secret underground bout was held to determine which martial art reigned supreme: Pro Wrestling or the Nanshin Shadow Style, a deadly and concealed fighting discipline. The Nanshin Shadow Style emerged triumphant in that clash. In the present day, the fighter who represented Pro Wrestling in that match has returned, vowing to obliterate the Nanshin Shadow Style by any means necessary. Now, Kiichi—the son of the previous victor—must take up the mantle to defend the honor of the Nanshin Shadow Style and prevent it from being wiped out of existence entirely.

At Saito High, a school filled with supernatural entities and led by a principal obsessed with collecting occult artifacts, the Holy Student Council—chosen by prophecy—acts as the primary line of defense. Each council member struggles with their own unique issues. Haruto Houjo, the council president, has the power to call forth spirits but yearns for an ordinary life, a desire constantly undermined by the principal's schemes. Lum's ally, Benten, proposes a surprise wedding to preempt the arranged ceremony. As a result, Lum and Benten kidnap Ataru along with all the invited guests, leading to a chaotic impromptu wedding event.

In Patlabor Movie 3: WXIII, detectives Kusumi and Hata look into a sharp increase in Labor incidents near Tokyo Bay, uncovering a government conspiracy centered on a biological weapon called WXIII—Wasted Thirteen. The investigation also reveals a personal connection tied to Hata. To stop the danger, they are forced to work with the military and direct WXIII into a confrontation with the Labors of Special Vehicle Division 2.

UFO Princess Warukyure, also known as UFO Princess Walkyrie, follows a princess from outer space who accidentally crash-lands on Earth. There, she encounters Kazuto, who is desperately trying to keep his grandfather's public bathhouse running. Due to unusual circumstances, Kazuto ends up holding a portion of Princess Walkyrie's soul, which compels her to remain with him. AIKa Zero continues the story with Aika now nineteen, placing her three years after the events of her R-16 incarnation and seven years before Agent AIKa. Strange incidents at a girls' academy cause the most attractive students to be secretly recruited into an underground club. Rather than receiving a typical welcome, these young women are abducted by a mysterious group that controls them through dubious methods. Aika becomes involved after witnessing one of these kidnappings while soaring above the academy. Even though an attacker attempts to deter her, her curiosity is sparked. Her inquiry grows as former R-16 companions join the investigation into the disappearances. As expected, the series delivers intense action and the iconic panty shots that define the Aika franchise.

When a demon-possessed boar assaults his Emishi village, young prince Ashitaka rises to protect his people. The dying beast inflicts a curse upon Ashitaka's arm, bestowing him with tremendous power while gradually consuming his life. Heeding the counsel of his village elders, Ashitaka journeys west to find a cure, eventually reaching Tatara, the Iron Town. There, he finds himself entangled in a fierce struggle: Lady Eboshi, Tatara's leader, relentlessly clears the forest to expand her ironworks, whereas Princess San and the forest's sacred spirits wage war against human encroachment. As the conflict between nature and civilization intensifies, Ashitaka strives to forge a connection between these opposing sides while battling the curse that festers within him. Princess Mononoke explores the dynamic between technology and nature, emphasizing the harmony attainable through mutual understanding.
