Hoshika comes from the Japanese 星花 — hoshi (星), "star," and ka (花), "flower." A star-flower: something that shines and grows, the way a great community does.
We work under the night sky — yozora (夜空) — because the best of anime and manga has always felt a little like looking up: vast, luminous, full of stories waiting to be discovered. Hoshika is our attempt to give that feeling a home.
