Former Shonan biker gang leader Eikichi Onizuka, a twenty-two-year-old virgin, aims to become the greatest high school teacher in Japan. His motivation is far from noble; he secretly hopes to eventually find a young wife. Despite being a lecherous, lazy, and unscrupulous delinquent, Onizuka possesses a complex personality. After suplexing the Vice Principal, he secures a teaching position at Holy Forest Academy, taking on the notoriously difficult Class 3-4. These students despise authority and use psychological manipulation to drive their teachers away. Onizuka, however, is no ordinary educator and is ready to confront these challenges directly. He addresses serious issues like bullying, suicide, and harassment by tackling their underlying causes through his unconventional and often extreme methods, including dramatic acts such as leaping from buildings to save lives. Gradually, the students come to recognize the value of learning under the unique guidance of Great Teacher Onizuka.

An ancient prophecy foretells that when the great elemental titans of ice, lightning, and fire are disturbed, Lugia, the guardian of the seas, will emerge to restore balance. Driven by this prophecy, the collector Gelardan sets in motion a sinister scheme to capture Lugia by targeting the three powerful titans. As Gelardan executes his plan, extreme weather disturbances erupt across the globe, with fierce storms sweeping through the world. One such storm forces the boat carrying trainers Satoshi, Kasumi, and Kenji off course, leading them to land on Shamouti Island. On the island, Satoshi uncovers the ancient prophecy and learns of his destiny as the chosen one, who must assist Lugia in restoring peace to the world. With the future of the world hanging in the balance, Satoshi must summon the courage to confront the chaos threatening everyone and thwart Gelardan's malevolent intentions.

After school shopping, Sakura Kinomoto wins a year-end lottery in the Tomoeda Shopping District, receiving a round-trip ticket to Hong Kong as the grand prize. She travels there with her best friend Tomoyo Daidouji, her older brother Touya, her crush Yukito Tsukishiro, and Keroberos. Their vacation is suddenly disrupted. Without realizing the connection, Sakura has been having prophetic dreams of a mysterious woman and Clow Reed, the creator of the Clow Cards. These dreams suggest a deeper bond between her recent luck and her role as a Cardcaptor.

In the world of Medabots, advanced robots powered by unique medals engage in a popular combat sport known as Robattle. These mechanical fighters are controlled by their owners, called Medafighters, who compete at various levels, with the ultimate goal being a place in the prestigious World Tournament. Ikki Tenryou, a young elementary school student, is gifted his first Medabot, Metabee, an outdated model without a medal. One day, Ikki discovers a medal in a local river and inserts it into Metabee, leading the robot to behave unpredictably. Metabee turns out to be a temperamental and defiant companion, often defying Ikki’s instructions. However, if Ikki and Metabee want to progress through the ranks and eventually compete in the World Tournament, they will need to develop a cooperative relationship.

At Ohtori Academy, the mysterious transfer student Utena Tenjou has her gaze locked on Touga Kiryuu, a childhood acquaintance. Touga holds knowledge about Utena’s past and the Mark of the Rose, a symbol worn by duelists vying for control over the Rose Bride, Himemiya Anthy. Winning these duels is said to grant dominion over Anthy and the power to bring about a world revolution. As Utena becomes entangled in these battles, the complex history between her and Touga begins to emerge, hinting that the truth behind this anime series is far more intricate than initially meets the eye.

The Yamada family's everyday moments, from squabbling about errands to their usual antics, provide a glimpse into ordinary household life with the television humming in the background. Though they have their flaws, a genuine warmth exists among them, seen in the grins and laughter that brighten their daily routines. "Tonari no Yamada-kun" presents an intimate, comedic view of a typical Japanese family's experiences.

Ouji Tanaka has a wife, a child and a mundane job as a salary man in Tokyo's modern society. But life wasn't dull for him to begin with; 15 years ago, he was known as "Gabriel", leader of a short-lived heavy metal band called Black Heaven. Ouji's life gets a sudden change in direction when he is invited by a mysterious blonde woman named Layla to pick up his Gibson Flying V and once again display his "legendary" guitar skills, not knowing that his music generates power for a massive weapon in an intergalactic war.

In "Gravitation: Lyrics of Love," Shindou Shuichi, the lead vocalist and lyricist of the band Bad Luck, finds himself in a difficult situation. With the deadline for the band's next album approaching, the pressure is mounting, but the usually energetic Shuichi has become listless and stuck in a creative slump. The reason lies with Yuki—the love of his life—who has suddenly become cold and distant. Overcome by melancholy and anxiety, Shuichi is unable to focus on songwriting; he only wants to figure out how to get Yuki to communicate with him again. Since Shuichi once boasted about his talent to the media, the band cannot bring in someone else to write the lyrics. If they cannot quickly pull Shuichi out of his low point, it could spell the end for Bad Luck.

In "Amazing Nurse Nanako," Nanako serves as a clumsy nursing trainee under the talented young physician, Dr. Kouji. However, the hidden truths about her history remain guarded, revealed solely to Dr. Kouji and his immediate family.

Further misadventures with the Magic User's Club! Comprising five well-intentioned oddballs, the Magic User’s Club wields real magic far beyond mere card tricks. Using their powers, they successfully vanquished an enormous spaceship from outer space, but that victory left a colossal cherry blossom tree planted in the city center—so massive it blots out the sunlight entirely. Takeo Takakura, the club’s honorable yet lecherous president, convenes a special Sunday meeting to deal with the tree. The task appears straightforward, but with magic in the mix, nothing unfolds as intended. Moreover, a ghostly presence lurks among the branches, observing their every action. Who is this quiet apparition, and what is his objective?

Inspired by the comics of the late Nekojiru, this compilation comprises 23 animated shorts initially aired on the TV Asahi Network program "Bokusho Mondai Boss Chara Ou," along with an extra 4 episodes that never went on the air.

While hurrying to school as he usually did, Tsuyoshi came across a girl attempting to rescue a kitten that was stuck in a tree. That girl turned out to be Minamizato Ai, who had been secretly in love with Tsuyoshi for a long time.

Paraila was once an operative for a space warfare organization, but after breaking out of prison, she is declared a traitor by the interplanetary supreme court and becomes a fugitive. She then assembles a crew made up of an unsuspecting schoolteacher, a bazooka-obsessed girl, and one of Paraila's former allies. Together, they battle Paraila's enemies while striving to reach Earth in order to escape cosmic law enforcement.

After enduring severe physical and emotional abuse from her mother, Asuka finds safety with her grandparents. In this nurturing environment, she gradually rediscovers her self-worth and confronts diverse challenges with renewed strength.

In the story "Sorcerer on the Rocks," the cold-hearted wizard Chivas Scotch accepts a job from Count Cuttlefish to eliminate a dangerous monster threatening a local village. However, the task goes wrong when Chivas cannot defeat the beast, compelling him to shift his mind into his attractive ally Gin Fizz.

A series of six brief "Special Broadcasts" (omake) was created and aired after particular episodes. Each short segment ran for about five minutes and preserved the main anime's general aesthetic, although the characters appeared in a chibi style.

The story of Tokimeki Memorial centers on twelve female students at Kirameki High School, with particular emphasis on Fujisaki Shiori. The plot begins at the start of their final year, which offers the protagonist his last opportunity to choose and develop a romantic connection with one of the girls prior to graduation.

While exploring ruins on Angel Island, a doctor discovers a mysterious newborn bird named Kyoro-chan. They form a connection and decide to journey across the world together. Three years later, as the Doctor and Kyoro-chan attempt to return to Angel Island, a storm wrecks their ship. Kyoro-chan manages to reach the island safely, but the Doctor is nowhere to be found. Kyoro-chan prays for the Doctor's safety and hopes for their return, now beginning a new life on Angel Island.

Daigo Asahina is a new recruit in Medaka Gumi #2, known as Me Gumi, and he quickly catches attention through his risky moves—like throwing people from a rooftop to shield them from a blast. Although his motives are good, his unorthodox methods start harming the unit's reputation. When a fire breaks out at Sengoku City's Concert Hall, even the Emergency Rescue Squad finds itself trapped. Daigo resolves to uphold his pledge: under his care, no one dies.

Based on the comic "Inuki Kanako Queen's Collection" by Inuki Kanako. Bukida is loathed by every student in his class due to his unpleasant face. Despite this, he is infatuated with a girl named Matsuko and proceeds to stalk her. Even though Matsuko rejects him, Bukida deludes himself into believing she secretly loves him. One day, Bukida dies in a traffic accident. Matsuko feels a sense of relief. However, Bukida reappears before her as the living dead, declaring, "I love you forever, even though I am dead!"

One year after Crane's visit to Earth, Hibari is troubled by dreams of him that prevent her from sleeping well. This retelling of the "Satsuriku no Deep Blue" storyline from the 1997 Kindaichi TV series follows Kindaichi, Miyuki, and Fumi as they accept an invitation to the opulent Deep Blue Island resort from their senpai Akane, whose father leads the Aizawa Group. Hotel staff are actually criminals who have infiltrated the location with the intention of murdering the Aizawa Group members. But these criminals have never met their leader and are unaware that their target is one of the guests present at the resort.

The second season of Uchuu Kaizoku Mito no Daibouken. Aoi was raised as an ordinary boy on Earth, unaware that he was the successor to Mito, the Queen-turned-Space-Pirate of an alien species that selects their gender at puberty. Aoi fell in love with Mutsuki, the police officer pursuing Mito, and together the three saved the universe. The only unintended consequence was that Aoi developed into a beautiful young woman. Now a malicious being who calls herself the true Queen of the Universe emerges, wielding enough power to obliterate entire planets. Aoi must defend her new throne, but she requires Mutsuki's assistance. Mutsuki must reconcile her own emotions for Aoi so they can protect Earth and become the galaxy's first royal pair of queens.

Koume starts working as a new employee at Caramel Ribbon, Inc., a company that specializes in design. The series follows her daily life and nightly adventures, infused with the distinct humor of Osaka. From an outsider's perspective, the Kansai region appears quite different from the rest of Japan. Watching this show will make you an expert on the area, even if you currently know nothing about it. This is a comedic portrayal of life inside a Japanese company, featuring Koume, her boss who has effeminate mannerisms, and Kimi—a former member of a girl gang—as they attempt to sell (allegedly) innovative and original designs. The voice actors are all from Kansai, which lends the show an authentic feel. Note: This series is part of Anime no Ai Awa Awa Hour (アニメ愛のあわあわアワー), a block of three romance-related comedy series targeting women that all aired on the same day.

This comedic story centers on Shizuka, the eldest daughter who remains single and lives at home with no intention of marrying; her mother, who is both irritated by Shizuka and worried about her diminishing marriage prospects; her sister Ikumi, with whom she shares a relationship that is both close and argumentative; and her father, who lives a relatively quiet life in a mostly female household. The comedy emerges from the ridiculous and wildly amusing predicaments that occur in this otherwise ordinary family. The original manga was serialized in Takeshobo's Manga Club magazine. Its title is borrowed from Nippon Animation's long-running adaptation of "Little Women," the anime "Ai no Wakakusa Monogatari."

In "Let's Dance with Papa," the carefree siblings Fuko and Yoshiharu come to live with their equally unpredictable father, Amachi. Their daily life is filled with eccentricities such as cobras, lame jokes, adult films, sultry grandmothers, excessive flatulence, silly comments, verbal abuse, crude language, and a series of absurd incidents.

"Barbapapa around the world" is a cheerful series of five-minute animated cartoons aimed at preschool children. After a 25-year absence, Barbapapa and his family come back to television with 50 entirely fresh and unique episodes. In every episode, they journey to distant locations where the Barbapapa family discovers plants, birds, reptiles, or mammals in their natural environment. The Barbapapa family not only enjoys playing with and mimicking rare animals but also lends aid when those creatures find themselves in life-threatening scenarios. Come along with the Barbapapa family as they explore New Guinea, the Amazon, Patagonia, and many other places around the globe, experiencing the humor, peril, and thrill of life.

This special was released alongside the Queen Emeraldas OVA, offering a brief tribute to Leiji Matsumoto's cherished cat, Mii-kun.

Born from a mystical stone, Sun Wukong spent five centuries trapped beneath a mountain as punishment for his chaotic actions in the heavens. The goddess Guanyin foretold that the monk Tangsen would set Wukong free, and the two would then undertake a sacred journey from China to India. True to the prophecy, Xuanzang released Wukong, and together they began their quest westward. Along the way, they were joined by Zhu Bajie and the hermit Sha Wujing. As a group of four, they confronted numerous perils, including evil spirits and sorcerers, gradually learning to cooperate and trust one another.

The movie opens with the Phoenix recounting stories and aspirations about Astro Boy, using visuals directly sourced from the 1980s anime series to highlight some of his past exploits. After the recap, Astro Boy approaches Blue Bon, attempting to persuade him to reconsider his negative view of humanity. However, Blue Bon misinterprets this, thinking that if Astro Boy does not side with him, he must be an adversary. Blue Bon harbors hatred for humans because they separated his family—Maria and Tonto. When Astro Boy is unable to convince Blue Bon that they are not foes, a fight erupts between them.

While enjoying a day at the amusement park, the wicked witch Dana is revived. Dispatched by Queen Yae to go after Rika, Dana becomes a serious menace. Luckily, the Doll Knights are the only ones who can stop her. At the same time, Dai and their companions face perils of their own.

At a high school located right by the ocean, three unpopular teenage boys—Abe, Nagaho, and Mita—spend more time messing around on the beach than hitting the books. Naturally, surfing always takes priority, but their other antics along the shore and their quest to meet girls provide an endless stream of laughs.

This anime short was released in theaters as part of a triple bill featuring films based on Takara's toy lines. The two other short movies included were "Super Doll Licca-chan" and "Microman." Because of its relatively late theatrical debut, this episode was not included in Pioneer's Japanese DVD box set of Beast Wars Metals.
