Tetsuwan Atom: Ao Kishi no Kan

Synopsis

The movie opens with the Phoenix recounting stories and aspirations about Astro Boy, using visuals directly sourced from the 1980s anime series to highlight some of his past exploits. After the recap, Astro Boy approaches Blue Bon, attempting to persuade him to reconsider his negative view of humanity. However, Blue Bon misinterprets this, thinking that if Astro Boy does not side with him, he must be an adversary. Blue Bon harbors hatred for humans because they separated his family—Maria and Tonto. When Astro Boy is unable to convince Blue Bon that they are not foes, a fight erupts between them.
