In the days leading up to the Japanese Revolution, Hiko Seiijuro, a wandering master swordsman and hermit, comes across bandits ransacking a slave wagon. With the hope of saving as many lives as he can, Hiko cuts down the raiding bandits, yet only manages to shield one child from the slaughter. He leaves the child behind, telling him to head to a nearby village where the locals can raise him. A few days later, Hiko returns to check on the child he saved and is struck by what he finds: the boy has shaped gravestones for both the slaves who had become his friends and the bandits who had killed them. Seeing great potential in the child, Hiko takes him in, gives him the name Kenshin—meaning "heart of the sword"—and mentors him in the swordsmanship of the Hiten Mitsuruugi Ryu. As his ideals clash relentlessly with the cruelty of reality, Tsuiokuhen tells the sorrowful and dark tale of Himura Kenshin, one of the most dreaded assassins of the Japanese Revolution: the Hitokiri Battousai.

Count D, an intriguing pet shop owner from the area known as Chinatown, offers rare and difficult-to-find pets to individuals seeking something unique, but every sale includes a contract. If the contract's rules are followed, all goes well; however, if someone violates the contract's terms, the pet shop cannot be held accountable for any unfortunate events that may occur. Leon Orcot, a homicide detective, has connected numerous strange and inexplicable deaths—all of which involved customers of Count D's pet shop, and he aims to uncover the reason behind this.

Doremi Harukaze, a third grader at Misora Elementary School, considers herself the unluckiest pretty girl in the world. Her fascination with witchcraft leads her to a mysterious shop, where she meets Majo Rika and realizes the woman is an actual witch. When a human exposes a witch, a curse turns the witch into a magical frog. To break the curse and regain her original form, Rika must turn Doremi into a witch by teaching her magic. Excited by this strange turn of events, Doremi becomes a witch apprentice. Unfortunately, her two closest friends, Hazuki Fujiwara and Aiko Senoo, discover that Doremi has become a magic user. Worried that Doremi might turn into a magical frog, Majo Rika recruits both Hazuki and Aiko as witch apprentices as well. The three friends embark on many adventures as they strive to overcome the required trials and become true witches.

Kusakabe Maron appears to be an ordinary high school student, but she is actually the reincarnation of Jeanne d'Arc. On their voyage to Jinto’s new academy deep in Abh territory, their vessel becomes caught in a violent space clash between Alliance and Abh forces. Unaware of the broader stakes, Jinto and Abriel find themselves at the center of an escalating full-scale war between the Abh Empire and humanity.

In "Iketeru Futari," sixteen-year-old Keisuke Saji spends his time fantasizing about attractive girls and becomes obsessed with Koizumi Akira, whom he sees as his ideal partner. However, Koizumi despises Saji and all men, expressing her hatred through violent behavior. Even though other boys recognize the clear signs of her hostility and the warnings in her actions, Saji continues to chase after her without giving up.

Beast Wars Neo is a 1999 Japanese television series created to promote the corresponding toy line. It is a direct continuation of Beast Wars II. The story centers on a band of Maximals under the leadership of Big Convoy as they contend with the sinister Predacon commander Magmatron and his followers to gather the Angolmois energy capsules that were scattered at the conclusion of Beast Wars II.

In the follow-up to B.B-DAMAN BAKUGAIDEN, SHIRO BOM and AO BOM serve as B-da cops tasked with maintaining order within the B-da Union. One day, they witness a spaceship pursued by space pirates crash-land in a secluded spot. Near the debris, they encounter Princess (also known as BOM), who has fled from her invaded kingdom, accompanied by a shining jewel called "Crysmond" that possesses mysterious abilities. The villains are hunting for this gem. With KIIRO BOM and KURO BOM joining them, the group sets out on a quest to safeguard the Crysmond from the Devil Veders.

The anime delves into sexuality and sadomasochism, adapted from a manga by Masahiko Kikuni—author of "Kizu darake no Tenshi-tachi" (Heartbroken Angels), which appeared in Young Sunday. It was included in the Wonderful anthology show, broadcast daily and earning a 9.1% viewer rating, despite airing in late-night slots typically seen as poor for viewership.

Tamago Tosaka, a fifth-grader, has a strong passion for B-Daman battles. The arrival of skilled bead-warrior Ganma Nishibe at Tamago's school makes their competitive B-Daman duels the focus of the story. At first opponents, they eventually come together to prepare for the B-Daman championships. Through their cooperation, Tamago and Ganma build a close friendship, encouraging each other in their common goal of winning.

Highschool Aura: Hikari no Mezame This animated adaptation of the popular novel series by WAKAGI Mio, which was also turned into a manga by MORI Makoto and serialized in LaLa, draws its character designs from KOUGA Yun's illustrations in the novels, while the anime itself follows an original storyline incorporating the books' early chapters. Centuries ago, a great conflict divided heaven and earth between the Kuu no mono and the You no mono. Nine hundred years past, the Kuu commander Kara-ou gave his life to seal away the You general Kuna-hi. Now, with the You stirring again, Kara-ou is reincarnated as Shinobu Saiga. Returning to the world, he begins once more to move against the You no mono together with his ally Kiba. RyouSuke Sakiya is a first-year student at Kouryou High School blessed with extraordinary psychic abilities. He constantly picks up sights and sounds that no normal person can perceive. This unusual aura attracts the attention of the You no mono, making him a target. While on a date at the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building, the boy is assaulted by a sinister power and is saved by Jutsusha—the "skilled ones"—Jukyuu Satomi and Kisara Iizumi. These jutsusha are human inheritors of the supernatural might of the Kuu no mono, appointed to suppress You no mono that would injure ordinary people. RyouSuke escapes without a scratch, yet he can no longer stay away from the fight between these two sides.

In "Ultraman M78 Gekijou: Love and Peace," a collection of short episodes shows the Ultramen and their kaiju foes coexisting peacefully in a chibi art style. The characters engage in activities such as taking part in domino tournaments, practicing magic tricks, drifting into daydreams, and attempting to capture ghosts.

A persimmon tree longs to bear more fruit, and a crow wishes to overcome its fear of flying. They join forces to assist each other in achieving their respective goals.
