Following a crushing defeat in the final round of the 14th Cyber Formula World Grand Prix—a loss that ultimately cost him the championship—Hayato Kazami resolves to shake things up and moves to the Sugo Garland SF-03 for the 15th Cyber Formula World Grand Prix, all while awaiting the latest Asurada model. Yet his hopes of redeeming last year's disappointment hit a major obstacle when Aoi ZIP Formula undergoes a sweeping overhaul and appoints Kyoshiro Nagumo as the team's new president. The machine he introduces to the squad, piloted by rookie Phil Fritz, appears practically invincible...

In the wake of Aoi Zip Formula's disqualification from the Cyber Formula circuit for cheating, Jotaro Kaga—known as Bleed Kaga—returns to compete in the 17th Cyber Formula World Grand Prix. His old vehicle proves no match for the reigning champion, Hayato Kazami, who pilots the advanced Nu-Asurada AKF-0 after further refining his skills. A chance meeting with his former colleague, Kyoshiro Nagumo, leads Kaga to the Ogre AN-21, a revolutionary prototype from the Bio-Computer driven Al-Zard series, built by the same designers as the Asurada. This powerful racer demands exceptional driving ability. Kaga must master the new machine, resolve his personal struggles, and ultimately defeat his longtime rival Hayato in what may be Kaga's final and most decisive season in Cyber Formula.
