This anime short was released in theaters as part of a triple bill featuring films based on Takara's toy lines. The two other short movies included were "Super Doll Licca-chan" and "Microman." Because of its relatively late theatrical debut, this episode was not included in Pioneer's Japanese DVD box set of Beast Wars Metals.
