Standing just three feet tall, the alien Space Pirate Mito has a childlike appearance and courage as explosive as a supernova. She is known as the galaxy's most dangerous pirate and a high-priority fugitive, notorious for wrecking twelve police cruisers every morning before breakfast. Yet underneath that tough facade, she secretly longs to be called "Mom."

The second season of Uchuu Kaizoku Mito no Daibouken. Aoi was raised as an ordinary boy on Earth, unaware that he was the successor to Mito, the Queen-turned-Space-Pirate of an alien species that selects their gender at puberty. Aoi fell in love with Mutsuki, the police officer pursuing Mito, and together the three saved the universe. The only unintended consequence was that Aoi developed into a beautiful young woman. Now a malicious being who calls herself the true Queen of the Universe emerges, wielding enough power to obliterate entire planets. Aoi must defend her new throne, but she requires Mutsuki's assistance. Mutsuki must reconcile her own emotions for Aoi so they can protect Earth and become the galaxy's first royal pair of queens.
