Heiwajima Shizuo is widely regarded as the strongest man in Ikebukuro, a title earned through his extraordinary physical prowess. Standing at 185 cm with a weight of 70 kg, he typically appears in a bartender’s suit and sunglasses, though his hair is golden yellow while it was brown during his childhood. Born on January 28 under the Aquarius sign, he is 24 years old in the anime and manga, and 25 in the novels. His name carries the meaning of "Quiet Hero of the Peaceful Island," derived from the kanji readings for "peaceful island" and "serene man." Despite his unrefined fighting style, Shizuo possesses naturally unlimited human strength, often compared to adrenaline-fueled superhuman power that emerges in emergencies. He also demonstrates exceptional parkour abilities, a skill honed through years of chasing Izaya Orihara.
