Synopsis
Adorned in a sharp, fitted suit, his iconic mirrored sunglasses, and a cigarette casually dangling from his lips, Shizuo Heiwajima is the undisputed ruler of Ikebukuro's streets. Upon hearing of this reputation, an unremarkable bartender named Shizuo Nobusuma decides to capitalize on the opportunity to change his luck by pretending to be Shizuo Heiwajima. Donning a blonde wig and infiltrating Ikebukuro, the impostor convinces himself he can command respect and obedience. His fortunes take a dramatic turn when he crosses paths with Izaya Orihara, an information broker who revels in riling up Shizuo. Meanwhile, the residents of Ikebukuro either mock or pity the fake Shizuo, fully aware that the real one will expose the deception sooner or later.
Background
Durarara!!x2 Ketsu: Dufufufu!! adapts a chapter from Durarara!! Gaiden!?, which was released to commemorate the series' 10th anniversary. The OVA was pre-screened in theaters on May 21, 2016 and later included with the sixth Blu-ray and DVD volume of Durarara!!x2 Ketsu, released on July 27, 2016.
