Synopsis

Continues the story of Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha A's

Following the resolution of the Jewel Seed crisis, Nanoha Takamachi returns to her daily life, which includes her morning magical practice. She stays in touch with Fate Testarossa and the crew of the Arthra through video messages, eagerly anticipating their next encounter. Her peace is broken when Raising Heart warns her of an imminent danger while she is studying. The attacker is Vita, a Belka Knight, who showcases her power by using an intelligent device equipped with a unique cartridge system, quickly overpowering Nanoha. Just as Nanoha is about to be defeated, the Space-Time Administration Bureau intervenes. Vita and her comrades, Shamal, Signum, and Zafila, are assigned to extract magical energy from mages in order to complete the Book of Darkness, one of the Lost Logia. What dark goals do these knights have for the Book of Darkness?

In the decade after the Book of Darkness crisis, Nanoha Takamachi, Fate Testarossa, and Hayate Yagami have moved from their studies on Earth to serving as military mages on Midchilda under the Time-Space Administration Bureau. After their unacknowledged efforts in extinguishing a large airport fire, Hayate establishes Riot Force 6 to handle public safety issues and defend against threats from dangerous magical relics called Lost Logia. As experienced members, they take on the role of mentors to new recruits Subaru Nakajima, Teana Lanster, Caro Lu Luce, and Erio Mondial, supporting these rising talents as they undergo demanding training and pursue their individual goals. Despite their dedication, Riot Force 6 encounters numerous obstacles, including enemies who use Lost Logia and internal skepticism, leading to a continuous strain on their resources and abilities.
