Summary

Fate Testarossa, later known as Fate Testarossa Harlaown, is a central figure in the series whose age progresses from nine years old during Nanoha and A's to twenty-five by the events of Force. She possesses distinctive burgundy eyes and blonde hair, wielding the Intelligent Device Bardiche Assault. By the time of StrikerS, she achieves the elite S+ rank and serves as the Captain of the Lightning Unit within Lightning One. Fate initially materializes in a town alongside Arf and Bardiche, searching for Jewel Seeds without fully understanding their significance as Lost Logia. Driven solely by her mother Precia’s demands, she dismisses her rival Nanoha as naive and her efforts as futile. However, Nanoha’s persistent kindness gradually softens Fate’s hardened exterior. Despite Precia’s cruel torture when Fate fails to secure all the seeds, Fate remains loyal, clinging to the hope that the artifacts will cure her mother’s madness. She resides in the gloomy Garden of Time hideout, sharing quarters with Arf, and spends much of her time in transformed state since she has no school or other activities to occupy her. She teleports using complex coordinates and magic, appearing in the city only when she senses a Jewel Seed.
