Synopsis

Continues the story of Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha: The Movie 2nd A's

In the months after the Jewel Seed incident, Nanoha Takamachi looks forward to Fate Testarossa’s return from her trial with the Administrative Bureau. Fate received conditional clemency for her role in ending the crisis and is set to join Nanoha at school. However, their reunion is cut short when a group of dark mages launches a sudden assault. Overwhelmed by these mysterious enemies, Nanoha and Fate have their mana drained into an evil grimoire, leaving their Devices, Raising Heart and Bardiche, badly damaged. The attackers are the Wolkenritter, consisting of Vita, Signum, Shamal, and the familiar figure Zafila. They are summoned by the Book of Darkness to carry out its sinister plans. Currently in the possession of a young girl named Hayate Yagami, who is unaware of the book’s malevolent nature, the Wolkenritter are forced to empower the tome with stolen mana. Weakened and without their Devices, Nanoha and Fate must quickly recover and confront the Wolkenritter. Their aim is to stop the completion of the Book of Darkness and prevent the release of its catastrophic magic upon the world.

In this installment

The planet Eltria, the only home of Kyrie Florian, her older sister Amitie, and their scientist parents, is teetering on the edge of annihilation. The family dedicates itself to saving their world, but a devastating blow comes when their father falls gravely ill, forcing them to leave Eltria for medical care despite the bleak outlook. Unwilling to give up on either her father or Eltria, Kyrie disobeys Amitie's orders and flees to Earth—a peaceful planet—in search of a solution. Once there, she and her childhood friend Iris set out to find the world's magical defenders: Nanoha Takamachi, Fate Testarossa, and Hayate Yagami. Convinced these guardians hold the key to her mission, Kyrie will go to any lengths to secure their cooperation. Yet her attempts to provoke them into helping prove difficult. The situation grows even more fraught when Amitie arrives on Earth, determined to stop Kyrie's dangerous plan and bring her home.
