Summary

In Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha A's, Vita joins Zafila on a mission to hunt down powerful Linker Cores to absorb into the Book of Darkness. She views Nanoha Takamachi as a particularly juicy target, distinguishing her from the standard TSAB "redshirts" whose cores are too weak to even fill a single page of the Book. Although Nanoha puts up a decent fight, Vita gains the upper hand using two cartridges—bullet-shaped devices containing high-pressure magic—to overwhelm her. The power disparity is so vast that Vita heavily damages the Raising Heart. However, before Vita can extract the Linker Core, Fate Testarossa and Yūno Scrya arrive to intervene. Vita engages them alongside fellow Wolkenritter Signum and Shamal, formally declaring themselves enemies. The skirmish concludes when Shamal finally succeeds in retrieving Nanoha's Linker Core, while Nanoha manages to break Vita's barrier. Four years after the events of A's, in Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha StrikerS, Vita serves as a Second Lieutenant and sub-commander of the Stars Squad within the TSAB, reporting directly to Nanoha, who answers to Hayate. The Wolkenritter remain close to Hayate and to one another to maximize their effectiveness as a unit; while Shamal and Zafira handle support roles and Signum is assigned to the Lightning Squad, Vita leads the Stars Squad.
