Continues the story of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure

Kujo Jotaro, an ordinary high school student in Japan, believes a spirit has taken hold of him and confines himself to a prison cell. During a visit from his grandfather, Joseph Joestar, and a confrontation with Joseph's associate Muhammad Abdul, Jotaro discovers the "spirit" is actually Star Platinum, his Stand—a physical embodiment of combat energy. Soon after, Jotaro's mother also awakens her own Stand and becomes ill. It turns out that Dio Brando, the vampire defeated a century ago by Jonathan Joestar, Jotaro's great-great-grandfather, has returned. With the aim of permanently eliminating Dio, Jotaro journeys to Egypt alongside Joseph and Abdul.
