Summary
Prosciutto serves as an operative for La Squadra di Esecuzione, working in tandem with Pesci, who addresses him as aniki, a yakuza-style honorific denoting a superior. The duo attempts to assassinate Buccellati and his companions aboard a train bound for Florence. Prosciutto wields the Stand The Grateful Dead, a massive humanoid torso lacking a lower body, from which wires trail and which is covered in malevolent eyes. These eyes emit a vapor that rapidly accelerates the aging of living beings. While cold temperatures mitigate this effect, allowing women to age more slowly due to their typically lower body heat, the process can be entirely halted by applying ice to affected areas. Physical contact with The Grateful Dead intensifies the aging effect. Prosciutto can voluntarily subject himself to this power, using his touch to reverse his own aging.
