Summary
Born as Haruno Shiobana, Giorno Giovanna is the son of Dio, who used Jonathan Joestar's body to father him, thereby connecting Giorno to the Joestar bloodline. His mother later married an Italian man, prompting a move to Italy where he adopted the name Giorno Giovanna. Despite his young age of fifteen or sixteen, standing at 172 cm in the manga and 175 cm in the anime, he harbors a grand ambition to become a mafia boss, or "Gang Star." He joins the Passione syndicate as its youngest member but quickly demonstrates his capabilities, rising to become the de facto leader. True to his Robin Hood-like ideals, Giorno aims to redistribute wealth to the poor, a goal that drives him to take control of Passione, effectively sidelining the original boss who becomes his adversary. He possesses the Stand Gold Experience, which he can evolve into Gold Experience Requiem.
