Synopsis
Continues the story of D.Gray-man
The pain of losing a loved one often creates a desperate wish to bring them back, a feeling the mysterious Millennium Earl exploits. He crafts his mechanical servants, called "Akuma," by trapping the souls of the dead. These spirits remain imprisoned until an Exorcist employs the "Innocence" Anti-Akuma weapon to free them. Allen Walker, after three years of training under General Cross, joins the Black Order, an organization committed to fighting the Akuma and stopping the Millennium Earl. Equipped with an Innocence-powered arm and a cursed eye that exposes the suffering souls inside Akuma, Allen must unite with fellow Exorcists to thwart the Earl's sinister plot, which endangers the very existence of the world.
In this installment
After a recent Akuma attack, the members of the Black Order feel hopeful as they relocate to a new base. However, soon after settling in, Allen Walker is summoned to the Central Agency, where his arm is forcibly sealed. His path leads to an unforeseen encounter with his teacher, General Cross Marian, who reveals startling truths about the mysterious 14th Noah. A series of strange events begins—a phantom thief case, the appearance of unknown Exorcists, the loss of a crucial ally, and a major clash with the Noah Family. How are these incidents connected, and what do they mean for Allen, Yuu Kanda, and their friends? These occurrences are only the first of many seemingly unrelated strange happenings that will eventually combine into a much larger picture.
