Summary
An elderly historian from the Bookman clan, he lacks a personal name and instead introduces himself simply as "Bookman" upon his first encounter with Allen. He was accompanied by Lavi during his initial appearance in the manga. Viewing Allen as "The Destroyer of Time," he holds the belief that Allen is the sole individual capable of defeating the Earl of Millennium. Adhering to the Bookman philosophy of remaining detached from the frontline, he merely happens to align with the Black Order. His anti-Akuma weapon is the Heaven Compass, a set of acupuncture needles that enables him to utilize various techniques. He can deploy "Needles of Spells: North Crime" to impale targets with thousands of needles or employ "Needles of Divine Protection: East Crime" for defense, causing the needles to encircle and shield a target from external attacks. Additionally, he possesses healing abilities through the use of acupuncture.
