Synopsis
In the Pokemon XY&Z Specials, Professor Sycamore and Alexa explore ancient ruins and find a stone statue of a woman named Aila, which leads them to uncover an old legend. According to Kalos region records, Aila's beloved, Jan, tried to defeat the Destruction Pokémon, Yveltal. His attempt failed, causing Yveltal to encase itself in a cocoon, drain the land of life, and turn Aila into stone. Undeterred, Jan sought out the Life Pokémon, Xerneas, to restore the barren area, though he could not revive Aila. As Kalos faced severe imbalance, the Order Pokémon, Zygarde, emerged to restore harmony, with Jan remaining by Aila's side as the cycle of life and destruction continued.
