Summary

Dent serves as one of the three gym leaders of Striaton City and is the sibling of fellow leaders Pod and Corn. Recognized as an A-rank Pokemon Sommelier, he possesses the unique ability to assess the compatibility and closeness between a trainer and their Pokemon. Following his defeat by Ash in a gym battle, Dent chose to accompany Ash on his journey through the Unova Region, taking on the roles of navigator and cook for the group. He has a passion for detective work and trains, enjoying the process of solving mysteries using scientific explanations. Dent is also a massive fan of the subway system in Nimbasa City. While he dislikes the Pokemon Purrloin due to a past negative experience, he refuses to discuss the incident further. His vintage Pokemon is his Pansage, and during his travels, he has also acquired a Dwebble that evolved into a Crustle, as well as a Stunfisk.
