Synopsis

The recurring Holy War between Athena and Hades, erupting every 250 years for control of Earth, has continued since ancient times. This prequel is set in 18th-century Europe, 243 years before the original Saint Seiya. It focuses on three childhood friends—Tenma, Alone, and Sasha—who share a joyful bond. Tenma, hot-headed yet just, leaves for the Sanctuary to train as a Saint, where he meets Sasha, Alone’s sister and Athena’s new incarnation. Meanwhile, Alone, a gentle artist, is chosen as Hades’ host. As Tenma becomes the Pegasus Saint, he faces an intense confrontation with his former friend, now King Hades. The intertwined fates of Pegasus Tenma, King Hades, and Goddess Athena set the stage for the original Saint Seiya story.
