Summary
Sagittarius Sisyphus is the Saint who escorted Sasha to the Sanctuary, placing immense hope in her. During his missions, he investigated Hypnos and Thanatos, uncovering the existence of the four Dream Gods. When Hades invaded the Sanctuary, Sisyphus fired a Gold Arrow at him, but Hades easily redirected it back, leaving Sisyphus in a coma. His Cosmo was sealed by the Dream Gods, trapping his soul in the Dream World. He later appeared in Taurus Aldebaran’s final dream, reminding him of the pain Athena feels when a Saint dies. Sisyphus was rescued by Sasha during the battle between Oneiros and El Cid/Tenma, ending his comatose state. He assisted the Saints against the dream god by firing a golden arrow from the Pope’s temple in the Sanctuary. Although El Cid intercepted and sliced the arrow in midair, the fragments pierced the weak spots of Oneiros, leaving him vulnerable. Hakurei entrusted him with leading Athena’s forces in the Pope’s absence. Notably, when rescued from the dream world, Sisyphus briefly appeared as a Spectre wearing a dark Gold Cloth and shedding tears of blood, marking the first time a Gold Saint outside of Kurumada’s depiction became a Spectre since the Hades arc. He later traveled to Jamir to lead Athena’s army into the Lost Canvas using the boat of hope. To protect the vessel from Aiacos, he fired cosmo-infused arrows and unleashed Cheiron's Light Impulse, a powerful blast of light that created a whirlwind extinguishing the fires on both ships. By blinding himself, Sisyphus reached the eighth sense, allowing his massive Cosmos to defeat Garuda Aiacos.
