Set over 20 years before the main One Piece storyline, this limited-release OVA depicts the clash between Gold Lion Shiki and Gold Roger, along with various events unfolding across the world around the time of the Pirate King's execution.
In this installment
Upon discovering that islands in East Blue are being destroyed, Monkey D. Luffy and his crew set out to investigate. During their journey, they encounter a strange pirate ship descending from the sky, commanded by the infamous pirate Shiki "the Golden Lion," who ate the Float-Float Fruit and became the only prisoner to ever escape Impel Down. Driven by a desire to challenge the World Government, Shiki kidnaps Nami to serve as his navigator and leaves the rest of the Straw Hat Pirates stranded on his floating islands as hostages, placing Nami in a dangerous situation. Trapped within Shiki’s territory, Luffy and his crew must navigate the treacherous landscape to rescue their navigator and friend.
