Summary

Nico Robin, also known as Robin, is the archaeologist and seventh member of the Straw Hat Pirates. Born on February 6 under the sign of Aquarius, she stands 188cm tall and was 28 years old at the start of the series, later turning 30. Her past is marked by a bounty of 79 million beri, a label she has carried since age eight following an incident where she allegedly destroyed six Buster Call ships using the powers of the Hana Hana no Mi (Flower Flower Fruit). This Paramecia-type Devil Fruit allows her to sprout replicas of her body parts, typically arms, on any visible surface, granting her immense power and dexterity. She formerly worked for Baroque Works but joined the Straw Hats after Luffy saved her life, insisting she live when she desired to die. Though initially feared, she was accepted as a nakama and now serves as the crew’s wisest and most sensible member. As a highly talented archaeologist, Robin despises the reckless destruction of history. The World Government fears her ability to decipher Poneglyphs, ancient stone tablets containing glyphs that could revive world-destroying weapons. However, Robin cares little for these weapons; her true dream is to uncover the True History inscribed on the Rio Poneglyph. Personality-wise, she appears quiet, reclusive, and serious, often speaking only when something significant occurs. While others might view her as cold, she is actually kind and thoughtful, acting as a distant den mother to her friends. Her vast knowledge of the seas and the world allows her to remain calm and logical in crises, contrasting sharply with the melodramatic reactions of her fellow crew members. She enjoys studying and reading, and her tendency to point out gross or morbid facts often unsettles Nami and Usopp.
