Synopsis

Continues the story of Channel 5.5 2nd Season

The anime project Channel 5.5, in collaboration with the energy drink Calorie Mate and the comedy group Eagle Talon's Frogman, creates a parody of the Ghost in the Shell: Arise series. Sumire Uesaka stars in this comedic version, taking over from Maaya Sakamoto, who originally voiced the iconic cyborg Motoko Kusanagi in the Arise OVAs.

Following their comedic skits with Sumire Uesaka portraying Motoko Kusanagi from Ghost in the Shell: Arise, Project Channel 5.5, together with Calorie Mate and Eagle Talon's Frogman, now turns its satirical eye toward the classic music manga Nodame Cantabile. As in their previous season, this installment introduces fresh voice talent. Yuuki Kaji steps into the role of the exacting piano student Shinichi Chiaki, a part originally played by Tomokazu Seki. Moreover, Tomoko Kaneda voices Megumi Noda, the lively counterpart to Shinichi, taking over from Ayako Kawasumi, who previously voiced the character in earlier adaptations of Tomoko Ninomiya's josei manga.
