Doomed to be hunted by demons for eternity, Guts defiantly sets out to challenge his grim destiny, facing relentless hordes of monstrous creatures. Armed with his massive Dragonslayer sword, he seeks revenge against the man who was once his mentor and confidant. On his perilous path, he meets unlikely companions like the diminutive elf Puck and Isidro, a youthful thief aspiring to master swordsmanship under the guidance of the former mercenary. Together, this disparate group embarks on Guts' vengeful quest, confronting adversaries far more terrifying than any they have previously faced.

In this installment

The kingdom of Midland is in turmoil as demons roam freely, spreading chaos everywhere. Guts, the branded swordsman, can no longer stay in one place for long. While he once could rely on his own strength to survive, he now must also protect the former Commander Casca, who has lost her memory and her trust in him. Haunted by constant demon attacks, they search for a safe haven where Casca can rest while they look for a way to heal her mind. Their ally, the elf Puck, speaks of the mysterious island of Elfhelm, rumored to be a refuge from the demon-infested world. Filled with hope but exhausted, Guts and Casca press onward, seeking both a peaceful sanctuary and revenge against those who caused their suffering.
