Summary
Sonia serves as a member of Griffith’s reformed Band of the Hawk, harboring an intense devotion to her commander. Her backstory involves the tragic loss of her parents during a Kushan invasion of her village, after which she was captured. She was eventually liberated by Griffith and his apostles during a raid against the occupying forces. Despite inhabiting a surreal and often terrifying world, Sonia maintains an unnerving calmness and displays no fear for her own survival. Instead, she exhibits cheerfulness and wonder regarding her status within the Hawks. She possesses the ability of clairvoyance, which grows stronger in Griffith’s presence. Driven by a childish infatuation with him, she harbors significant jealousy toward Charlotte, who is engaged to Griffith.
