Summary
Isidro is a runaway street urchin who turned to thievery, driven by his ambition to become a legendary swordsman. This dream led him to join Guts, despite his significant lack of physical power and combat experience. Instead of relying on brute force, he leverages his diminutive stature and high agility, supplementing his skills with various tricks and gadgets. Possessing a massive ego, he is convinced he can achieve greatness, initially intending to shadow Guts and steal his techniques to surpass him. However, as he witnesses the vast, almost inconceivable gap in strength between himself and the Black Swordsman, he begins to understand that there are paths to becoming a formidable warrior. Beyond his personal growth, his primary function in the narrative is to provide comic relief, often alongside Puck.
