Puck

Summary

Puck is a wind spirit hailing from Elfhelm, a utopian realm situated on the island of Skellig in the Western Sea. In the world of Berserk, elves possess the unique trait of being invisible to the devoutly religious, yet they remain visible to the open-minded. While Puck cannot be seen by the faithful, he can still interact with them physically, such as playing with their faces without their knowledge. He possesses several magical abilities, including the secretion of a healing powder from his wings to rapidly mend wounds and the emission of a blinding flash to disorient foes. Additionally, he utilizes an attack known as the Bloody Needle, which involves throwing a spiny, seed-pod-like object that, while non-lethal, inflicts enough pain to make victims cry out. Puck was the first companion to join Guts on his journey and has begun displaying a peculiar attachment to the Behelit Guts acquired after his battle with the Count. Often paired with Isidro for comic relief, the two are frequently depicted in exaggerated styles. Puck becomes particularly irritable when mistaken for a Pixie or Fairy, quickly clarifying the distinction. He also shares a sibling-like dynamic with Evarella, the newest female elf character introduced as comic relief.
