Chiharu Kashima, captain of the Wizard Bureau's Crisis Countermeasures Division, is one of the few people capable of using magic. While visiting his favorite bar, he meets a friendly man named Toyohi Utsumi, who has always dreamed of being a wizard and is thrilled to encounter one. To the young captain's surprise, Toyohi confesses that he has fallen in love with Kashima. Though not much time has passed, the two begin spending more time together. However, all is not well, as Kashima fears that magic is all he has to offer and that Toyohi is only in love with Kashima the Wizard.

The anime will feature an original story from the game on which it is based.

Smartphone apps are used by people all around the world. However, hidden within them are mysterious AI lifeforms known as "Appli Monsters," or "Appmon." These beings can think and act on their own, existing at the boundary between the human realm and cyberspace. In the vast expanse of the internet, the ultimate boss AI called Leviathan infects the Appmon with a virus and begins hacking into every system, thereby seizing control of the human world from the digital world. Haru Shinkai is guided to obtain the Appli Drive, which allows him to bring to life Gatchmon, a search-type Appmon.

In a world where humans and monsters coexist, those who pursue and hunt monsters are known as Hunters. Yet in one secluded part of that world exist Riders—individuals who form bonds with monsters and live alongside them. Using Kizuna Ishi (Bonding Stones) that unlock the latent power within monsters, Riders dwell in hiding with their Otomon, the monsters they have grown connected to. Ryuto, a boy from the Rider village of Hakum, aspires to become the greatest Rider in the world. Having recently turned twelve, he ventures out to find his own Otomon before the ceremony where he receives his personal Kizuna Ishi. Accompanied by his good-hearted childhood friend Cheval, his curious childhood friend Lilia, and his partner Naville, he travels deep into the forest and there has a miraculous encounter with a Rathalos.

Fairilu are fairies that originate from flowers, insects, mermaids, or other sources, all born from "Farilu Seeds." Every Fairilu is born with a unique key, and must search for the single door that matches it. When a Fairilu goes through that door, it matures. These doors also have a connection to the human world.

Shunta Mogami has a passion for the Battle Spirits card game. One day, a radiant light from a Battle Spirits card transports him to Spirits World, the realm where all Battle Spirits originate. There he meets a girl named Eto, who explains that she summoned him to prevent the destruction of Spirits World by the revived Evil God-King—a being that once plotted the realm's annihilation before being defeated and sealed away. Now, together with Yoku Albatrosa, a confident green-deck user who also comes from another world, Shunta sets out to find the twelve God-Kings whose power originally sealed the Evil God-King.

This installment serves as the direct sequel to Versus Revolution, continuing the storyline after the conflict between the Invaders and Revolutionary. It also represents the final season and the conclusion of the Versus arc within the anime. The 'V' mark that previously appeared on Katta Kirifuda's forehead conceals a mysterious power, but that power remained sealed away. Although removing the seal does not produce much of an effect, Hamukatsu begins to speak! Moreover, more hamsters resembling Hamukatsu start appearing. The group is then informed about a secret organization called the "Rare Killers," whose members are transfer students at the school. What is the enigma surrounding hamsters like Hamukatsu, and who exactly are the Rare Killers? The final battle is about to begin.
