By accessing or using Hoshika (the Service) you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

Hoshika operates independently and is not affiliated with MyAnimeList, AniList, Kitsu, Trakt, Simkl, or any anime/manga studio or licensor.

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you live in the European Economic Area (EEA) or UK, the minimum age is 16, unless your country sets a different limit between 13 and 16. Minors must have legal guardian consent.

We reserve the right to close accounts of people who don't meet these requirements.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you provide when signing up and for keeping your password confidential. Notify us of any unauthorized use of your account.

An account is personal and non-transferable. You may not assign, sell, or share access to your account.

You agree NOT to:

• Post illegal, defamatory, violent, or unlabeled pornographic content.
• Harass, intimidate, or impersonate other people.
• Distribute spam, piracy links, malware, or unauthorized advertising.
• Perform mass scraping, attempt to break security, or saturate the API.
• Upload copyrighted material without permission, except as part of the Service's normal editorial use (covers, screenshots for catalog purposes).

You retain ownership of reviews, lists, comments, and other material you contribute. By posting it you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, display, and distribute it within the Service while you keep it published.

You are solely responsible for the content you post. We may remove it if it violates these Terms, applicable laws, or third-party rights.

The Hoshika brand, design, code, editorial texts, and translations produced by the team are owned by us or our licensors and published under their respective licenses.

Anime and manga titles, covers, synopses, and images belong to their respective owners. They are used for informational and catalog purposes only.

The Service integrates data from MyAnimeList (Jikan), AniList, Kitsu, Trakt, Simkl, and other public sources. This data may contain errors, omissions, or be outdated. We don't guarantee its accuracy.

Sign-in with Google, Discord, or X (Twitter) is subject to each provider's terms.

You can close your account at any time from settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with prior notice when possible.

The Service is provided as is and as available. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hoshika will not be liable for indirect damages, lost profits, data loss, or service interruptions.

We may update these Terms. We'll notify of relevant changes with a prominent notice or by email. Continued use of the Service after the change implies acceptance.

These Terms are governed by Spanish (EU) law. For any dispute, the parties submit, waiving any other jurisdiction, to the Courts of the consumer's residence when acting as such.
