To commemorate the 20th anniversary of Aaliyah’s passing, Studio 4°C produced a commercial animation promoting the streaming debut of her 2001 self-titled album.

Katsuhiro Otomo directed this animated TV commercial promoting the Korakuen Yuuenchi amusement park. The related print advertisements also feature Otomo's artistic style.

Toruru's Adventure focuses on Torulu as he travels across multiple dimensions to find his younger sister, Haruru, with the help of the NaSuBi. Each dimension Toruru visits is directed by a different filmmaker: Dimension One: Time Master, directed by Tatsuyuki Tanaka (Tojin Kit, Digital Juice). Dimension Two: Crazy Consumption, directed by Sayo Yamamoto (Wooser's Hand-to-Mouth Life). Dimension Three: The Last of the Flowers, directed by Tomoyuki Niho (Birdy the Mighty: Decode). Dimension Four: The Door to the Future, directed by Takashi Nakamura (Catnapped! The Movie).

A surreal comedy TV short from 2018 produced by Studio 4°C, it aired on Gunma TV in five-minute episodes on weekdays. The Sukiyaki Force, a hero team composed of sukiyaki ingredients native to Gunma Prefecture and created by Professor Warishita, fights the evil Kiraida, who threatens global destruction, while simultaneously highlighting the region's culinary offerings and self-sufficiency.

The central storyline follows the Yamata Empire's scheme to eliminate all negative karma in the galaxy by means of a colossal technological device known as the Naaga Generator. However, negative karma cannot simply be erased; it must be redeemed. The head of the influential mystic Buddhist Fuze Clan intends to prevent this destruction, as it would ultimately give rise to the nine-headed Naaga, threatening to annihilate the world and possibly the entire universe. To aid in thwarting the Naaga's creation, the clan summons a Shinto deity named Susano, the Warrior God of Destruction. This mighty, arrogant, and murderous god must contend with various obstacles, including the Empire and the clan leader's own daughter—the spoiled sorceress Seska, who is under the influence of negative karma's power and a potent magical formula.

In this lighthearted comedy, Gunma prefecture takes center stage due to its ability to locally produce every ingredient required for making sukiyaki. The story revolves around the Sukiyaki Force, formed by Professor Warishita, who battle the threatening Kiraida invaders that arrived in Gunma with the goal of destroying the world.

The story follows the events of Entotsu-machi no Poupelle. Having lost his companion Poupelle, Lubicchi ventures into a strange world where a tower clock stands frozen at 11:59. To find his way back, Lubicchi must set the clock in motion again—and rediscover the strength to trust once more.

Piroppo is a short series produced by Sony to advertise their robotic pet, Aibo. Of the 54 segments created, each roughly 20 seconds in length, only 23 titled episodes were included on the DVD release. The project was conceived by ISHII Katsuhito, who directed Trava Fist Planet and several Grasshoppa live-action films. Despite a limited budget, the series stands out as a one-of-a-kind production.

This compilation includes four animated prequels to Street Fighter IV, each focusing on a different character. Taking place after the events of Street Fighter II, these stories delve into the personal paths of the characters.

The film explores the subject of global warming. This family-oriented adventure story takes place in a dystopian future and focuses on a young boy, Takara. A girl from the present day called Sara journeys through time to the year 2100. She and Takara must struggle to survive in a future world where global warming has caused widespread destruction.

The film made its debut at the AnimeparTy festival, held in Shanghai on May 18 and 19. Hidekazu Ohara served as director, while the idol group Sweety, known for performing the theme song of Sengoku Collection, provided the voices for the NaSuBi and also handled the musical performances.

Urarochi Diamond is a captivating DVD that immerses you in a Studio-4C-inspired town filled with oddities. You are tasked with finding episodes that are unexpectedly short, in black and white, and充满奇奇怪怪的内容。

In the story "Tuzki: Love Assassin," the bunny Tuzki is fully immersed in gaming, his heart feeling disconnected, when a notification appears on his smartwatch, indicating a new assassination target. Carrying his bazooka, he goes out to fulfill the assignment, only to realize that his target is someone he meets by surprise.

A brother and sister flee from demons that have ravaged their home village. At the moment they are trapped, an enigmatic female warrior emerges and destroys the creatures. She is revealed to be a Slayer—a being who battles other demons—and belongs to a settlement inhabited solely by Slayers.

Koji Morimoto, a co-founder of Studio 4°C famous for his work on projects like The Animatrix, Genius Party, and Memories, directed an animated music video for the electro rock band Masterlink. The video accompanies their song "Super Speed," the lead track from the band's second CD single. Morimoto has also created music videos for artists such as Ken Ishii, Hikaru Utada, Glay, System 7, Genki Rockets, and Tamurapan.

The music video for Eri Nobuchika's song Yume no Kakera was directed by Daisuke Nakayama of Studio 4°C and released as a DVD single on March 1, 2006.

In a near-future where humanity has advanced to the point that the distinction between Homo Sapiens and Androids has become completely indistinguishable, this evolution was necessary for survival. Technology enabled humans to travel deep into space and colonize other planets and galaxies after Earth became uninhabitable. One of the many unfortunate consequences of this robotic Darwinism is that human behavior and consciousness have also shifted over time. Much of what once defined humanity—love, family, intimacy, and so on—has become a relic of the past, almost a legend. This six-minute 3D animated short film draws inspiration from the female android "Gynoid" illustrations by Hajime Sorayama (The Humanoid). It is a collaborative effort between Studio 4°C, Shirogumi, and American filmmaker Rashad Haughton, with art direction by Tatsuyuki Tanaka. The CG animation was created "by eye," using live-action sequences filmed with actors as reference models.

Because of environmental decay, the collapse of ecosystems, and large-scale conflicts involving nuclear and biological weapons since the 20th century, the Earth has been reduced to a wasteland. The ground has caved in and become toxic, and countless species of plants and animals have vanished. The planet has entered its sixth mass extinction: the Big Six. During this era, humanity constructed the aero police as a sanctuary for endangered creatures. Inside this floating city, over many years, animals underwent genetically modified breeding and evolved. They eventually became bipedal, gained the ability to speak, and built their own civilization, living in peace. No one gives any thought to the world outside, the terrestrial realm below—until one day, children aboard the aero police discover an unknown seed that came from the outside world. Their adventure into the unseen terrestrial world begins—unaware that once they descend to the ground, they will never be able to return. Within a grand museum, a young warrior is assaulted by shadow beasts that manifest from humanity's fear and uncertainty regarding the unknown. The warrior battles these creatures using the energy charger at his waist, but the power source quickly depletes. Facing this dire predicament, he discovers a new and unexpected wellspring of strength.

The narrative follows Chizuru, who relocated from Yamaguchi to Tokyo and struggles to keep up with her studies. After becoming disheartened by poor results on practice exams and losing sight of her dream, she reaches out to her old classmate Shōta, and gradually starts to adjust her approach to studying.

A highly intelligent, somewhat unhinged, and wildly eccentric scientist spends his days laboring in his laboratory, constructing robots designed for various tasks. One robot can grant three wishes, another assists with diary writing, and yet another deliberately misbehaves to prevent its owner from growing bored. Each robot is created for a singular function and is incapable of performing tasks beyond its designated role. Fortunately for humanity, these robots often prove to be far more useful than they initially seem—though not always.

This biographical work depicts the life and convictions of Hijikata Toshizou, the Vice Commander of the Shinsengumi, as he fought to protect the Shogunate during the Meiji Restoration.

PES: Peace Eco Smile is a collaborative web anime series created by a Japanese car manufacturer and Studio 4°C. The story follows PES, an alien traveler, and NaSuBi, a mysterious being fascinated by Earth's appeal. Central to their journeys are Toyota Prius models, such as the Prius Liftback and Prius C hatchback, which serve important functions alongside the main characters. The series also includes a Lexus LFA, likely tied to an antagonist, and a Toyota Camry hybrid. Each episode runs three to four minutes and can be viewed on Toyota’s official website.

A collection of fourteen short animated music videos accompanies Utada Hikaru's album Exodus. The project brings together a diverse group of directors, including Koji Morimoto, Kazuto Nakazawa, Hideki Himura, Hiroyuki Kitakubo, Jiro Kanai, Yoshiharu Ashino, Yasuhiro Aoki, Atsuko Fukushima, Tatsuyuki Tanaka, and Daisuke Nakayama.

Set in a futuristic world where humans and mermaids coexist, ChaO centers on Stephan, a gentle office worker at a shipbuilding company, whose ordinary life is thrown into chaos when he is unexpectedly proposed to by Chao, a princess of the mermaid kingdom. Director Koji Morimoto, alongside a 228-person crew, dedicated 1,080 hours to finish the GLAY 2.7D animated adaptation of "Survival". Centered on the theme of a young girl's emptiness, the narrative follows an average high school girl who, while navigating emotions of doubt, pain, and disorder in contemporary society, connects with her own feelings and finds herself anew. This tale resonates with audiences across many age groups. Released as a video single, "Survival" caused significant excitement after achieving record-breaking sales.

Night has fallen, and Nonoko is ready to turn in. Yet the way light and shadow dance across the items on the wall gives them the eerie appearance of a human figure.

This anime series consists of three short films inspired by the 3DS game Kid Icarus: Uprising, which is known in Japan as Shin Hikari Shinwa: Palutena no Kagami. The first short, "Thanatos Rising," was produced by Production I.G and directed by Junichi Fujisaku. The second short, "Medusa's Revenge," was created by Studio 4°C under the direction of Kazuto Nakazawa. The final short, "Palutena's Revolting Dinner," was animated by SHAFT and helmed by Akiyuki Shinbou.

This is the masterpiece that brought Kojo Morimoto to global attention. EXTRA, the music video by Japanese techno pioneer Ken Ishii, debuted in 1995. It perfectly captures the Asian back-alley aesthetic that defines Koji Morimoto's style, earning overwhelming praise both domestically and internationally. This sparked a major boom for Japanimation. It won the “MTV Dance Video of the Year” award in England.

"Tweeny Witches" The Adventure was produced by Studio 4C alongside Keita Amemiya, creator of "Garo." Released across three DVDs, it includes the Alice chapters "Sakana ni Natta Maho Shojotai" and "Fuin Sareta Kokoro," the Sheila chapters "Yosei Hakusho" and "Kori no Majo to Hien no Taki," and the Eva chapters "Dragon House no Himitsu" and "Shippu Doto no Maho Shojotai." These episodes were made during the TV series' original run but remained unreleased until the DVD edition.

Since the beginning of recorded history and into the era of space travel, the legend of the undying Phoenix appears in every written record. This radiant being, whose blood is said to bestow everlasting life or deep enlightenment, watches over the survival of intelligent life across the universe while guiding the advancement of human societies. During Halloween, Lubicchi, a young chimney sweep, meets and befriends a mysterious being made of trash, naming him Poupelle. This friendship helps Lubicchi reconnect with the sense of wonder he lost after his father's death under the oppressive Inquisitors, who restrict access to outside knowledge and hide the town's history. When their growing bond is discovered, Lubicchi and Poupelle face hostility from both the Inquisitors and some townsfolk, threatening their relationship. Yet their strong connection drives them to seek the truth and clear the smoke that hides the sky above Chimney Town.

At the Tokyo Game Show, CAPCOM announced an anime film based on its fighting game Street Fighter IV. The movie depicts events that occur after Street Fighter II, featuring scenes such as Cammy moving through a forest accompanied by a squad of soldiers, Ryu beginning to give in to his darker nature, Sakura and Chun-Li teaming up to battle a group of thugs, and Crimson Viper facing off against Ryu.

Amazing Nuts! presents four unique animated shorts from Studio 4°C, each boasting its own visual style and accompanying soundtrack. The segments are titled Global Astroliner Gou, Glass Eye, Kung-Fu Love, and Joe and Marilyn.

Eternal Family is a globally famous reality show featuring five social misfits living together with a professional actor. The participants—including individuals with odd behaviors, questionable pasts, or those who were abandoned as children—were given false memories to make them believe they are a real family. Despite these altered memories, the traits that caused them to be outcasts from society remain, leading to intense conflict in their shared life. After an incident causes the facility holding them to break down, the group escapes into the outside world. Now that they have experienced life beyond captivity, returning to their previous situations may no longer be possible.

In the far-off future of Cahmpon city, a scientist creates an artificial entity called Noiseman, capable of converting music into crystals and thus silencing the airwaves. A group of biker street children forms a gang to rise up against this oppressive power.

In the quiet northern town where she lives, Kikuko Misuji—affectionately called "Nikuko-chan"—is known as the cheerful, full-figured woman who works at the grill. After years of moving between men and towns, Nikuko-chan seems to have settled down in a houseboat moored in the bay, where she lives with her daughter, who shares her name. The mother and daughter work together to forge their own path in life. Nikuko-chan's lively personality lets her face challenges head-on, while her more reserved daughter often sees each day as routine and feels self-conscious about her mother's flashy behavior. As she goes through middle school and uncovers the mystery behind her odd classmate, Ninomiya, young Kikuko's teenage years are marked by surprising developments.

In a tower where her father keeps her confined, Princess Arete spends her time gazing at the outside world through her window and occasionally slipping out to observe the everyday routines of ordinary townsfolk. Various knights vie for her hand and the throne by searching for enchanted artifacts left behind by a vanished race of sorcerers. Yet Arete feels no desire for such pursuits; she longs to mingle with commoners and explore far-off lands she has only encountered in the hidden books beneath her bed. One day, the sorcerer Boax arrives in a magnificent flying machine and proposes to marry her, declaring he will mold her into a true princess.

Following an invasion by unidentified extraterrestrial flora, Rita becomes trapped in a time loop, compelled to relive the same day endlessly. With every cycle, she learns and fights, allowing her memories and experiences to hone her abilities into those of a formidable warrior. However, the relentless cycle of death and isolation begins to erode her spirit. Then, she encounters Keiji, who reveals, "I've been repeating this day too." Two lost souls stuck in an endless war, their meeting might just alter fate. Note: The film received an early premiere at the 2025 Annecy International Animation Film Festival on June 9, 2025.

In Kuro no Su: Chronus, Makoto Nakazono possesses a strange ability to perceive shinigami who appear beside people right before their deaths, guiding their souls to the afterlife. Knowing that sharing this power would invite doubt, Makoto chooses to remain silent, accepting that changing anyone's fate is beyond reach. This outlook shifts when a shinigami attending the same school confronts Makoto directly, asking why the youth never tries to intervene. The situation grows urgent after Makoto learns that this shinigami's target is his best friend, Hazuki Horiuchi. Compelled by this discovery, Makoto begins seeking ways to postpone Hazuki's destined end, even if only for a limited time.

Toujin Kit (directed by Tatsuyuki Tanaka): In a steampunk world, a young woman illegally creates alien life forms inside stuffed animals, but the authorities eventually catch up with her. 5.) Dimension Bomb (directed by Kouji Morimoto): An eccentric young girl summons a boy from another dimension, but their relationship changes, resulting in an explosion of visual pyrotechnics as they each follow their own destiny.

However, before Yuko can even remove her shoes, she exits via Kazumi's television on her cybernetic steed FACE to launch a revenge attack against multitudes of S&M creatures from another dimension, as well as the evil queen ruling Yuko's world. 3. Kigeki (Comedy) Taking place during the Irish War of Independence, a five-year-old girl ventures out in search of the legendary Demon's Castle, which is the abode of the Black Knight. She hopes to enlist his aid. The Black Knight is a dark, youthful, and highly proficient swordsman who demands payment only in the form of a specific genre of books. 4. Higan (Enlightenment) An injured man lies motionless in a hospital room, surrounded by doctors. He appears calm and serene as he gradually approaches death. Yet inside his mind, recollections of a recent conflict surge vividly. Visions of death and turmoil persist in haunting him even as his life ends. 5. Garakuta no Machi (Junk Town) On a summer day, a young boy meets a small robot at a shopping arcade. The robot is hungry, consuming one machine after another, and each meal causes it to grow larger. This narrative of a boy, a robot, and their small journey is a story of an unconventional friendship, enhanced by everyday life details and presented through the director's distinctive visual style.

Long ago, before the emergence of humanity, an advanced alien civilization inhabited Earth. Their misuse of powerful technology led to their own destruction. Before disappearing, they left behind indestructible tablets commanding future inhabitants to eliminate all traces of their dangerous technology. In the present day, the ARCAM Corporation and its special forces unit, the Spriggans, are tasked with securing these ancient artifacts and preventing them from falling into the wrong hands. A living frog falls from the darkened sky of this zombie realm, and a small zombie boy, together with his friends, attempts to return the creature to its own world. 4.) Doorbell (directed by Youji Fukuyama) The protagonist is a ghost inhabiting his own dimension. He must flee from alternate versions of himself, or else they will seize control of his existence. 5.) Limit Cycle (directed by Hideki Futamura) An existential exploration of reality as experienced by a man who appears to be caught in an unending loop of labor. 6.) Happy Machine (directed by Masaaki Yuasa) A baby, safely content in their own nursery, suddenly realizes that everything around them is artificial. The infant is soon cast out of the nursery into the outside world, where adventure awaits and many alien-like creatures are encountered. 7.) Baby Blue (directed by Shinichirou Watanabe) A small-scale adventure involving two young students who decide to travel anywhere they can for just one day, living that day without concern for anything else, simply to be together.

Finally, "Odd One Out" is a non-canonical parody featuring Spartan 1337, who endures a series of unfortunate events.

Beyond While searching for her lost pet, a young woman joins some children in Tokyo to play inside a "haunted house," which is actually a glitch in their digital world. Based on the Matrix trilogy. 8. Detective Story A detective named Ash is recruited by a mysterious organization to pursue the notorious hacker Trinity. 9. Matriculated A group of scientists captures a robot and places it inside a surreal fantasy realm. When the robot's allies arrive and kill most of the scientists, the remaining scientist and the robot are left isolated together within the computer-generated world. Based on the Matrix trilogy.

With his deadly odor growing stronger, Nobuo struggles to evade relentless pursuit by the police, military, and international enemies. Cannon Fodder Set in a fortress city bristling with cannons, a young boy dreams of surpassing his father and gaining respect as an artillery officer. Despite a lack of evidence pointing to an opposing nation, he eagerly takes part in the city's daily cannon drills. His ambition to fire a cannon for his homeland drives him through every moment, whether at school or just before sleep.
