Synopsis
Before the era of prehistoric humans, an advanced alien civilization once lived on Earth. Careless with their immense power, these beings eventually caused their own extinction. Yet they left a warning for future civilizations on indestructible tablets: to destroy any remnants of the dangerous technology their kind created. In the present day, the ARCAM Corporation and its paramilitary force known as the Spriggans work to seal away these ancient relics and prevent renegade groups from abusing their power. After ARCAM's recent discovery in the Ararat Mountains of what is thought to be the legendary Noah's Ark, Spriggan Yuu Ominae is sent to investigate. But the site comes under attack by the US Machine Corps—a radical faction within the Department of Defense commanded by Colonel MacDougall. Acting on orders from the Pentagon, MacDougall aims to capture ARCAM's lead scientist and take the artifact. Teaming up with fellow Spriggan Jean Jacquemondo, Yuu must stop MacDougall and the Machine Corps' elite soldiers from reaching the Ark before it is too late.
