One day, seven shooting stars landed on the ground. Each star was a different color, and they possessed terrifying powers. Whoever obtained a star would be transformed into a monster, their deepest desires taking physical form.
Dr. Mishina and Dr. Kishiwada secretly acquired the red, green, and blue stars and began studying them. Eventually, they succeeded in controlling the stars' power by wearing a special helmet.
The newly developed helmet, called "Musumet," was as large as a car helmet. When worn, it turned the user's body into the strongest on Earth. Moreover, it received signals from the brain and infinitely amplified the user's innate abilities and talents.
To harness the power of Musumet, maintain world peace, and protect against disasters caused by the remaining shooting stars, Dr. Mishima and Dr. Kishida founded a secret organization known as "MET." However, he passed away before achieving his goal.
The bereaved daughters—Aoi, Midori, and Kurenai—resolved to become Musumet themselves in order to carry out their father's will.
Even when transformed into Musumet, their appearance changed only to include helmets, gloves, and boots. As a result, they had to go to the scenes of incidents wearing their own clothes. The girls would arrive at crisis points sometimes in school uniforms, sometimes in gym clothes, sometimes in swimsuits, and depending on the situation, they might even have to go naked. In any case, they performed admirably. At other times, they were ordinary teenage girls dreaming of romantic encounters with boyfriends.
