Synopsis
This song originally appeared on the children's television program Hirake! Ponkikki and was first made available on CD in 1975. In 2008, it was released again on an anime DVD featuring a music video. The lyrics recount the tale of Taiyaki-kun and other taiyaki treats who become weary of being cooked on hot griddles. After Taiyaki-kun escapes to the ocean, he is eventually captured and consumed by an anglerfish.
