Synopsis
Three stories from the Gradius video game series by Konami. The planet Latis faces an assault from the Space Dragon Salamander and its war planet, the Bacterian swarm destroying everything in its path. With defenses failing and hope lost, three heroes from the planet Gradius join Lord British to defend his beloved world. Then, in a prequel, a girl from a distant planet brings a dire warning to Gradius about the Bacterians, showing how three individuals rise to become galactic heroes. Later, in the future after a peace treaty is signed, one of those heroes is captured by the Bacterians. Can Gradius's military might and the remaining heroes rescue the prisoner from a fate worse than death?
