He instantly develops a crush on this girl, Anna Kobayakawa, who happens to attend the same school. Natsuki's quest to win Anna over should have been simple, but his interfering friends constantly disrupt his relationship as they pursue their own romantic goals.

At first sight, Galko, Otako, and Ojou appear to be three high school girls who have little in common. Galko is a sociable person often seen as a party girl, but in reality she is innocent and kind-hearted beneath her exterior. Otako has a simple appearance and a sharp tongue, with a deep passion for manga. Ojou comes from a rich family and has refined manners, although she can be somewhat forgetful. As he delves into the occult and the unknown, he shares stories about a figure with a muscular arm that must not be viewed, a hospital room hiding a dark secret, and a chilling trip to a silent taxidermy museum. These narratives and others are collected in Yami Shibai 3. Rendered in a style reminiscent of traditional kamishibai street theater, this horror series maintains the gruesome and unsettling atmosphere characteristic of Yami Shibai and its second season.

Chiharu Kashima, captain of the Wizard Bureau's Crisis Countermeasures Division, is one of the few people capable of using magic. While visiting his favorite bar, he meets a friendly man named Toyohi Utsumi, who has always dreamed of being a wizard and is thrilled to encounter one. To the young captain's surprise, Toyohi confesses that he has fallen in love with Kashima. Though not much time has passed, the two begin spending more time together.
