Reikenzan: Hoshikuzu-tachi no Utage
霊剣山 星屑たちの宴
Synopsis
Across the nine provinces of Kyushu, an ancient prophecy foretold that descending comets would drain the spiritual energies of heaven and earth, plunging the world into chaos. The comets arrived unexpectedly but caused no harm. Shortly afterward, a boy named Ouriku was born in a remote village within the Sokei region, seemingly linked to this celestial event. Twelve years later, as people's memories of the incident fade, the Reikenzan clan—one of the five supreme sects—holds an examination to recruit new disciples destined for sagehood. Ouriku journeys to the test site with his servant Ouchou, unaware that the organizer, the outwardly refined Oubu, is in truth notoriously reckless and unpredictable. The story follows Ouriku as he confronts these trials, striving to obtain the power of a sage.
Background
Reikenzan: Hoshikuzu-tachi no Utage is based off a Chinese webnovel titled Cong Qian You Zuo Ling Jian Shan (Once Upon a Time There Was a Spirit-Sword Mountain). It is being simulcast in Japanese and Mandarin Chinese.
