Vertex Force Names Lead Cast as First Main Promo Locks Oct. 3 Bow

The official site for Vertex Force just flipped the switch from teaser mode to full launch energy. On Friday, the original TV project unveiled its main cast, debut key visual, and first proper promotional video—plus a hard premiere window: October 3 at 11:30 p.m. on Tokyo MX, BS11, Gunma TV, and Tochigi TV.

Front and center are the Toudou siblings. Kaede Hondo voices Haruka, the older sister carrying a family secret known only as “Engine,” while Makoto Koichi plays younger brother Akira, who inherited none of that power and lives with the frustration of feeling ordinary beside her. Rounding out the core lineup are Ami Koshimizu as Eleanor Northbrook, Megumi Han as Lala Zudenstein, and Rie Takahashi as Youko Nishina.

Strike Witches and Vividred Operation veteran Kazuhiro Takamura directs, designs the characters, and co-writes series composition with Masashi Suzuki at SMDE (Shogakukan Music & Digital Entertainment), with Gorou Kuji as assistant director and Nobuaki Nobusawa scoring. The pitch is pure original SF action: peaceful life in northern Okinawa cracks open as global anomalies mount, and a brother with nothing and a sister with everything must figure out what they can still do together when the fate of the universe hangs in the balance.

For mecha fans who’ve been waiting on Takamura’s next big swing, this is the week the cast, look, and countdown finally align.
