Prisma Illya Finale Locks 2027 TV Run as Franchise’s Last Bow

After years of waiting since the 2021 theatrical chapter, Fate/kaleid liner Prisma☆Illya finally has an ending date. The production committee has locked the title Fate/kaleid liner Prisma☆Illya Finale and confirmed a full television series for 2027—explicitly billed as the last anime work in the long-running spin-off.

Silver Link. returns for the send-off, with Ken Takahashi directing and Shin Oonuma as chief director. Series composers Kenji Inoue and Hazuki Minase, plus character designer Kazuya Hirata, are all back, and a new teaser visual by Hirata accompanies the news. Core voices reprise their roles: Mai Kadowaki as Illyasviel, Kaori Nazuka as Miyu, Chiwa Saito as Chloe, Sumire Morohoshi as Erika, Natsuki Hanae as Julian, and Katsuyuki Konishi as Darius.

Story-wise, the finale picks up after the clash with the Ainsworths. With Pandora’s truth laid bare and calamity closing in, Illya, Miyu, and Chloe prepare one last stand to save a dying world—closing the arc that began with Hiroshi Hiroyama’s Comp Ace manga and four consecutive summer seasons from 2013–2016.

For fans who stuck with the kaleidoscope through films like Vow in the Snow and Licht Nameless Girl, 2027 is the appointment: same studio, same voices, and a proper TV runway to finish the story.
