Amidst the competition for his affections, he struggles to resist the continuous allure presented by his two attractive sisters.

In Zoku Natsume Yuujinchou, Takashi Natsume, a young boy born with the ability to see youkai, carries on his quest with his youkai guardian Madara, better known as Nyanko-sensei. The story follows Natsume as he works to give back the names recorded in the "Book of Friends"—a family heirloom left by his grandmother Reiko—to the youkai they belong to in his village. Along the way, Natsume encounters a range of youkai, from those who are kind to those who want to steal the book or even harm him. Through these experiences, Natsume grows to understand more about himself and the special connection he shares with the hidden world of youkai.

In a time defined by worldwide strife and unpredictability, Germany forms an unlikely bond with North Italy and Japan. Though descended from the mighty Ancient Rome, North Italy turns out to be fragile and fixated on pasta. Meanwhile, Japan is steady and levelheaded but has strange obsessions that bewilder others. Carrying the burden of command, Germany finds it hard to manage this improbable trio. Making matters more chaotic, the disorderly Allied Forces emerge with the intent to disrupt the Axis Powers' objectives. In the Academy City of Zuellni, Layfon Alseif hopes to start over and leave his past behind. But his history draws the interest of Karian Loss, the manipulative Student Council President, and Nina Antalk, a Military Arts student and captain of the 17th Military Arts Platoon, who quickly sees his skill and decides he is the ideal recruit for her team. However, with a secret past that refuses to let him go and extraordinary abilities beyond the ordinary, Layfon may not simply go along with it.

In Asu no Yoichi!, Yoichi Karasuma spends his entire youth secluded in the mountains, honing the Soaring Wind, Divine Wind swordsmanship style under his father's strict training. By age seventeen, he has fully mastered the technique but begins to crave new experiences. His father then sends him to a modern dojo in the city so he can further develop his skills and learn how to live in contemporary society. Completely unfamiliar with current social norms, Yoichi's behavior and traditional samurai attire frequently cause amusing misunderstandings. After moving in with the Ikaruga sisters at their dojo, his lack of knowledge about everyday etiquette leads to one comedic situation after another. The story follows Yoichi as he tries to adapt to his strange new environment, struggling to fit into the modern world while building relationships with his new family.

In Hinamizawa, the string of mysterious murders that once plagued the town has been resolved, thanks to Rika Furude and her companions, bringing the cycle of fate to a close. Rika believes she has finally attained the quiet, normal life she always desired alongside her friends. Yet her newfound joy is disrupted when destiny begins to move once more, triggered by a tragic occurrence. Rika awakens in what seems to be an "ideal" world where the cycle of violent deaths never took place, and everyone she cares about is content and fulfilled. Although she is reluctant to let go of the reality she fought so hard to create, she realizes she must remove a certain "key" in order to return to her original world. Can Rika turn away from this perfect existence, after all the struggles she endured to get this far?

During winter break, strange events occur at Reien Girls' Academy. Azaka Kokutou, a student and apprentice mage, is sent by her master to investigate. She discovers another mage is using fairies to steal students' memories. These fairies are invisible to Azaka but visible to Shiki Ryougi, an acquaintance with exceptional eyesight, so Shiki is brought in to assist. Despite initial friction between them caused by Azaka seeing Shiki as a romantic rival, the fairy situation worsens, revealing deeper layers to the mystery. Azaka must set aside her personal feelings and work with Shiki to save their fellow students.

Kanako Miyamae transfers to the all-girls Catholic school Ame no Kisaki, hoping to find true love like her parents. Because of her allergic reaction to males, she chooses this school to pursue a romantic relationship with a girl. When she meets the beautiful Mariya Shidou, Kanako thinks she's found her ideal partner. However, Mariya is actually a boy in disguise, and he blackmails Kanako into keeping his secret. Making things worse, Mariya becomes her roommate, allowing him to keep a close watch on her. The series follows Kanako's search for love amid these unexpected difficulties, especially the awkward situation of sharing a room with the mysterious and secretive Mariya.

Delinquent Juu Juuzawa prefers solitude and avoids forming connections with others. When Ame Ochibana insists they are linked by a past-life bond and eagerly offers to serve him, Juu remains doubtful and tries to keep his distance. Following the murder of a classmate, Juu begins to think Ame might be involved, so he decides to keep a close watch on her. As they end up collaborating to solve the murder, Ame's surprising intelligence and skills prove increasingly valuable in their investigation.

White Album explores whether a lasting romance can truly exist between an ordinary university student and a budding idol singer. Touya Fujii is a typical college student who balances his studies with a part-time job to get by. His main worry is the limited amount of time he can spend with his girlfriend, Yuki Morikawa. Yuki is an up-and-coming idol singer facing her own challenges. Though she hasn't reached the same level of fame as established idol Rina Ogata, Yuki is starting to draw media attention and land television appearances. While this might seem like a positive development, not everyone is happy about her rising popularity or Rina's involvement. The fierce, competitive nature of the idol industry means rival singers are keeping a close eye on Yuki's progress. Having your girlfriend appear on TV might sound exciting, but how does it affect Touya? With the pressure from Yuki's career and the various people he encounters at university, their relationship may be put to the test.

In the world of Akikan!, Kakeru Daichi discovers an unusual way to meet people by collecting various juice cans. But he never expects that trying to drink from one would lead him to meeting a mysterious girl. He names her Melon after the melon soda flavor of the can, and soon learns that she is an Akikan—a beautiful girl who is actually a specially made can created for fighting other Akikans in a strange experiment comparing steel and aluminum containers. Kakeru's life gets more complicated as he becomes involved in this bizarre research project that has gotten out of control. Because Melon is made of steel and needs carbon dioxide to survive, Kakeru finds himself dependent on her due to her strong need for CO2. Things get worse when Najimi, his wealthy and attractive childhood friend, gets her own aluminum Akikan, marking the beginning of real problems.

In the anime "Kurokami The Animation," high school student Ibuki Keita struggles with a life marked by relentless misfortune, as those close to him frequently meet tragic fates. This has made him reluctant to form strong bonds, including with his childhood friend Akane, leaving him in a lonely existence filled with suffering and regret. One night, while eating his favorite ramen, Keita encounters an unusual girl named Kuro, who wields remarkable abilities and claims to be a Mototsumitama. Kuro introduces Keita to the concept of "Terra," a vital life energy shared among three identical individuals through the "Doppeliner System." She also explains that she protects the "Coexistence Equilibrium," which regulates the flow of Terra worldwide. Initially doubtful, Keita becomes drawn into this hidden realm after a narrow escape from death and forms a pact with Kuro without fully grasping its consequences. Bound to her from that point onward, Keita wonders if his already troubled existence can become any worse.

Afro lives a quiet life as the holder of the Number One headband, the mark of the world's greatest fighter, yet his nights are plagued by recurring nightmares. That peace shatters when Jinno and Sio—old allies from his past—steal both the headband and his father's remains. Sio challenges Afro to recover the Number Two headband and seek revenge against them. With that, Afro sets out on a dangerous new quest, now hunted by anyone who wants to take him down. Afro Samurai: Resurrection follows Afro’s unyielding battle against wave after wave of enemies, cutting through countless opponents on his path to satisfy his burning thirst for vengeance.

This parody spin-off shrinks the main characters from The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya into chibi forms. Notable changes include Yuki becoming an avid eroge fan, Haruhi growing even louder and more boisterous, Mikuru experiencing more frequent emotional breakdowns, and Koizumi developing a deep fondness for Kyon. Kyon, however, stays much the same as before.

In the land of Ryoza, the neighboring provinces of Shin-Ou and Tai-Kou have long coexisted in peace. Queen Shinou rules over Ryoza, while her foremost general, Grand Duke Taikou, defends the kingdom with an army of mighty war-lizards known as the "Touda." Despite the enduring alliance between the two regions, mounting friction threatens to ignite a brutal civil war. In Ake, a village within Tai-Kou tasked with raising the Grand Duke's army, lives Erin, a cheerful girl who spends her days observing the work of her mother Soyon, the village's head Touda doctor. However, while under Soyon's care, a catastrophic incident befalls the Grand Duke's most powerful Touda, and the peaceful life Erin and her mother had known vanishes as Soyon faces severe punishment. In a desperate attempt to save her mother, Erin falls into a river and is swept away toward Shin-Ou. Unable to return home, Erin must learn to build a new life among completely different people, all while seeking the truth about both beasts and humanity itself, as tensions between the two regions continue to escalate.

A direct continuation of Shikabane Hime Aka, set six months after Tagami Keisei's death at the hands of the Shichisei (Seven Stars), an elite group of Shikabane who act on more than just regrets. Following Keisei's dying wish, Kagami Ouri formed a temporary contract with Makina to prevent her from degenerating into a Shikabane. Since then, Ouri has been training to become a proper monk so he can remain contracted to Makina and assist her in fighting the Shichisei—the ones who originally killed Makina, the entire Hoshimura family, and now Keisei. However, the traitorous monk Shishidou Akasha has aligned with the Shichisei in an attempt to destroy all Shikabane Hime and the entire monk organization that uses them—the Kougon Sect.

Jil is haunted by lingering uncertainties and a fragmented sense of self, seeking resolution for his inner turmoil. Out of nowhere, a mysterious girl named Kai appears and confronts him with the request, "Take me to the top of the tower." Motivated by Kai's cryptic demand, Jil perceives an opportunity to once again confront his fate and undertake the dangerous climb up the Tower. With his ambitions barely holding on, Jil must gather the resolve to take on this unyielding challenge once more.

In the lead-up to the Baseball World Cup, Gorou Honda is determined to represent his country. Though his name is omitted from the official roster, Gorou remains resolute and volunteers to serve as a practice pitcher for the Japanese national team. His aim is to impress the manager with his exceptional speed and abilities. Given an opportunity to prove his value in a scrimmage between the seasoned Japanese team and the promising new players, Gorou strives to stand out. The tournament, featuring top-tier talent from around the world, also sets the stage for Gorou's long-awaited confrontation with his enduring rival, Joe Gibson.

In the peculiar shop run by Yuuko, who grants your deepest desires for an appropriate price, Kimihiro Watanuki seeks to rid himself of his ability to see spirits. To pay for this wish, he works for Yuuko, performing tasks such as cleaning, running errands, and assisting her other clients. In xxxHOLiC Shunmuki, Watanuki and his friend and rival, Shizuka Doumeki, join their friend Kohane Tsuyuri and her grandmother for a meal, reflecting on how much they have grown since their first meeting. Later, Watanuki has a dream in which Doumeki's grandfather, Haruka, asks him to retrieve specific items from the family temple's storage room. Accompanied by Doumeki, Watanuki finds that this task resembles a treasure hunt, with each item leading them to the next, culminating in an unforeseen yet fated outcome.

A full year has passed since the events of "Okawari," and the three sisters have matured. Their personalities and quirks remain largely unchanged: Haruka, the eldest, acts as a loving, motherly figure while also strictly following the rules; Kana, the middle sister, procrastinates until the very last moment and constantly creates chaos for the trio; and Chiaki, the youngest, is clever and manipulative, craving Haruka's admiration and affection while always causing trouble for the less fortunate Kana. Despite this imbalance, they genuinely love each other deeply. Their daily life is just as hilarious as ever, filled with both conflict and warmth. Now, with Haruka becoming a young adult facing greater responsibilities and the challenge of balancing adult life while looking after her younger siblings, it remains to be seen whether they can survive this new stage of change.

After the Ryunka incident, Tokyo falls into social chaos. The alien organization responsible for the disaster has escaped the Space Federation and is now hiding on Earth. Birdy Cephon Altera, a Space Federation officer, and Tsutomu Senkawa, a high school student, still share a single body. Their mission is to hunt down and capture these fugitives. However, their task becomes complicated when a mysterious assassin, driven by a personal grudge, begins targeting the escapees. Birdy must navigate the city's turmoil while also uncovering the assassin's identity to prevent more alien casualties.

In a world where the GGP holds global control, Rin Ogata's promising path as a ballet dancer was abruptly ended by a severe injury, forcing her into retirement. Years later, while attending college, she discovers a transforming robotic vehicle called a Rideback. Her well-honed balance and elegance from her ballet background allow her to master its operation. However, her exceptional talent attracts unwanted scrutiny from the authorities.

Munto, the Magical King, follows a vision that guides him to Yumemi in the ordinary world in order to rescue both the Magical Kingdom and the Heavens, while also restoring the flow of akuto—the essential life force that maintains all things. Yumemi is a typical girl who possesses the special power to perceive the floating islands of the Heavens in the sky above. When she encounters Munto, she starts to contemplate her own and other people's duties toward the world.

Lina and her companions, aiming to rescue Pokota's homeland of Taforashia which was sealed by Rezo, begin their search for the Hellmaster's jar containing his soul after his death. Zelgadis shows special interest in acquiring it, thinking it could allow him to return to his original human state. At the same time, Zuuma pursues his own agenda of revenge and keeps trying to kill Lina Inverse. The reasons for Xellos' participation in this conflict stay unclear to the team.

This is an anime adaptation of the four-panel comic strip manga Nyoron Churuya-san. It is based on the Suzumiya Haruhi character Tsuruya, known for her energetic and ever-ready personality. Churuya is a girl who has an intense love for smoked cheese. Kyon and the others are aware of this and exploit her weakness. They get her to perform various tasks by dangling smoked cheese as a potential reward. Churuya, however, remains unaware of this scheme, so she keeps putting in effort for the sake of cheese. Each day becomes a struggle to obtain her beloved smoked cheese, but it proves far more difficult than she ever anticipated.

Viral tries to get some sleep, but keeps on having terrifying nightmares. Can't anyone save him from his plight?

In the year 311 of the Orbital Calendar, humanity has relocated to numerous colony clusters scattered across space. A girl living in a space colony, Akiha Shishidou, comes across a malicious artificial intelligence called Leopard that has been embedded within a colony. Akiha teams up with an Inter-Colony Police officer named Itsuki Kannagi, a quiet young girl named Honoka Kawai, and a robot named Imoko "Imo-chan" Shishidou.

A two-episode continuation of the previous OVA. Miu hits her head and transcends to heaven to cause a ruckus, followed by a school trip to paint in a park and contemplations of their friendships, as well as prediction of how the girls will turn out in Junior High.

The fourth season of Maria-sama ga Miteru unfolds at Lillian Girls’ Academy, where the students’ lives are buzzing with activity. The Yamayuri Council is collaborating with the all-boys Hanadera Academy on a theater production, and the school festival looms on the horizon. Yet Yumi’s responsibilities are nothing next to the challenge Sachiko has given her: selecting someone to become her petite soeur. Can Yumi withstand the strain of such a weighty choice, or will she buckle beneath the expectations of the Council—and Sachiko herself?

The high school literature club has only two members: Amano Tooko and Inoue Konoha. They meet after class so Tooko can give Konoha writing prompts that direct him in composing a short story—the Literature Girl Tooko's daily "snack"—all within a fifty-minute time limit. This story is bundled with a limited edition of the second Bungaku Shoujo: Minarai light novel.

Love Momozono is a 14-year-old student at Yotsuba Junior High who often puts others' needs ahead of her own. One day, she attends a performance by the famous dance unit "Trinity" and is inspired to become a dancer herself. At the same event, minions of the Labyrinth Kingdom appear, aiming to harvest the audience's unhappiness. Love gains the ability to transform into Cure Peach and battles them. Shortly after, she is joined by her close friends Miki, who becomes Cure Berry, and Inori, who transforms into Cure Pine.

The specials for Hidamari Sketch x 365 consist of three pairs: on February 24, "Polaroidron" and on February 25, "Won't Forget"; on February 10, "Anywhere Bicycle" and on February 11, "The Tortoise and the Hare"; on June 6, "Red Thread" and on June 7, "Deeper Meaning."

This two-episode OVA presents an alternate take on the original Da Capo storyline, exploring a hypothetical situation in which Junichi Asakura reciprocates Kotori Shirakawa's feelings.

Six months after the battle in Okinawa, Excel set out to find a new Mototsumitama so she could take revenge on Reishin. While searching, she came across Mikami and chose to enter into a contract with her. But before the pact could be finalized, Excel recalled her prior encounter with Steiner.

As Nobita sleeps, he suddenly feels the floor shaking beneath him, as if an earthquake is happening in his room. A little rabbit from an alternate universe named Chamii uses a hammer to open a door between dimensions and comes into Nobita's room through the floor. Nobita wakes up, and Doraemon hears someone stealing food from the fridge in the kitchen. The culprit is Chamii, who is caught by Doraemon and Nobita. She shows them the passageway through Nobita's floor leading into a spaceship. After they enter the spaceship, they see the Koya Koya Planet. There, they meet a boy named Roppuru...

This is a special recap of the anime Tokyo Magnitude 8.0, broadcast to celebrate the series receiving the Excellence Prize at the 13th Japan Media Arts Festival. Two versions of this recap exist. The first is a 65-minute television special that aired on Fuji TV on December 12, 2009. The second is a 95-minute film released in three theaters on January 17, 2010, to commemorate the 15th anniversary of the Great Hanshin earthquake.

At the Tokyo Game Show, CAPCOM announced an anime film based on its fighting game Street Fighter IV. The movie depicts events that occur after Street Fighter II, featuring scenes such as Cammy moving through a forest accompanied by a squad of soldiers, Ryu beginning to give in to his darker nature, Sakura and Chun-Li teaming up to battle a group of thugs, and Crimson Viper facing off against Ryu.

These computer-animated gag shorts focus on two female agents. They were produced by Production I.G and distributed online through Anime News Network. But wait—what are they actually? They are, in truth, secret agents on a mission to punish the wicked men of the world. Koko is an expert markswoman, always number one with a bullet. Mika can take down any evildoer with her bear-fisted martial arts techniques. Today, as usual, the girls are on a TV drama set. Koko is filming a bathtub scene, while Mika is filming a bedroom scene. But their secret, anonymous boss somehow always finds the "perfect" moment to summon them for another mission. When duty calls, what's a girl to do? The pair dashes off into action, leaving an unsuspecting film crew behind. That's when they transform into the Abunai Sisters, changing into sexy outfits and ready to go! These dynamic debutantes are determined to discipline diabolical men with often humorous personalities and sexy action.

Yutori-chan is a comedic anime that delves into generational divides through its cast, each representing a distinct age bracket in Japan: Yutori (teenagers), Tsumekomi (those in their twenties to thirties), and Dankai (middle-aged individuals). Tsumekomi-chan, an employee at a toy company, oversees the part-time work of Yutori-chan, a student. Though she tries to bond with Yutori-chan, Tsumekomi-chan struggles to grasp the self-absorbed traits often associated with the Yutori generation.

This manga follows four classmates who have just started attending the same junior high school. On the very first day, a boy named Hikaru Suzuki spots a gifted girl named Sayaka reciting lines from a play on the school rooftop, and he finds himself unable to look away. While Hikaru grows increasingly drawn to Sayaka, his childhood friend Chihiro harbors a secret crush on him. Meanwhile, a different boy named Shinobu Suzuki—who shares no relation to Hikaru—is developing feelings for Chihiro.

In the Examurai Sengoku anime, the members of the EXILE group are depicted as futuristic samurai who are transported back in time to Japan's sengoku (warring states) period. The anime character renditions of the EXILE members were designed by manga creator Hiroshi Takahashi, known for Crows and Worst.

The Tales of the Abyss Special Fan Disc contains two brief comedic anime episodes. The first one is called "Meii Jade? (Great Doctor Jade?)," and it is followed by "Goshujin-sama to Maid (Master and Maid)," which explores the dynamic between a master and their maid.

In "The Prince of Tennis: Mini Theater," Seishun Academy and Rikkai University-Affiliated Middle School engage in an unofficial rematch. Rather than concentrating on tennis, the players become involved in a game of Acchi Muite Poi and a contest to determine who has the superior data. Mysterious love letters start appearing in the shoe lockers at Seishun Academy. Sadaharu Inui uses the situation to observe how the regular players react when they receive these letters. Seiichi Yukimura asks his vice-captain, Genichirou Sanada, to pose as the subject for his next painting. Even though Sanada is reluctant, Yukimura has difficulty finding creative inspiration.

In the city of Salta, where sunlight never reaches, a society of vampires resides. Hipira, a young vampire boy, leads a fairly ordinary life—going to school and facing off against bullies. But he also has a fondness for exploration, playing tricks on others, and embarking on wild adventures! Whether he's making friends with a human spirit, frightening his neighbors by faking a daytime arrival, or coming across giant frogs and aliens, Hipira always finds a way to stumble into—and out of—trouble.

In the story of Elemi, a reliable utility pole standing among many in a small town, she develops a unique connection with a young repairman named Takahashi during regular maintenance. Moved by his kindness, Elemi decides to express her gratitude by placing phone calls to him, pretending to be a human. As time passes, the other utility poles in the town notice Elemi's growing feelings and urge her to stop, warning her about the potential disapproval from society and the inevitable moment when her true identity will be discovered by Takahashi. During an era when all communication passed through utility poles and cell phones did not exist, the tale of Denshinbashira Elemi no Koi unfolds as a touching romance between a utility pole and a utility worker.

The recap special (episode 39.5) of Zettai Karen Children is narrated by The Double Face, consisting of Nowaki Hotaru and Tokiwa Natsuko. It reintroduces all the main members of B.A.B.E.L., explaining their individual powers and duties within the organization. The episode also highlights various B.A.B.E.L. locations and facilities that have appeared throughout the series.

In a fictional modern-day nation, the authoritarian political party "Good for You" has seized power and enacted the "Chocolate Prohibition Act," banning all chocolate products and most enjoyable sweets. Two young boys, Huntly and Smudger, frequently visited Ms. Bubby's candy shop, mainly hoping to see Louise. Since the law came into effect, the once-lively store has fallen into decline. Louise tells them about a secret group distributing illegal chocolate. While heading to a hidden cave where chocolate supplies are kept, they discover an encoded message. After deciphering it, the boys sneak into the underground headquarters of the black-market dealers. There, they find a lively Chocolate Party in progress! Tasting chocolate again fills Huntly and Smudger with happiness. But their fun is interrupted when the Chocolate Police show up.
