Gen Urobuchi is a Japanese novelist and screenwriter who serves as the representative director and vice-president of the developer Nitroplus. He is best known as the original creator and writer for the anime series Psycho-Pass and Fate/Zero, as well as the writer for Puella Magi Madoka Magica. His other notable works include the visual novel Saya no Uta and the tokusatsu series Kamen Rider Gaim.
