Phantom: Requiem for the Phantom
Phantom 〜Requiem for the Phantom〜
Synopsis
In the heart of America, the streets are ruled by the mafia, where assassinations are a frequent occurrence. These violent acts are often the work of Inferno, a clandestine group that utilizes their almost invincible human weapon called "Phantom." One fateful day, a Japanese traveler unwittingly witnesses one of Phantom's hits. Fearing for his life, he seeks safety in an abandoned building. However, he is captured by Ein, the young female identity behind Phantom, and Scythe Master, the head of Inferno. The traveler undergoes a brutal brainwashing process and is subsequently rechristened as Zwei. Now a mindless pawn of Inferno, Zwei finds himself immersed in a world of deceit, treachery, and violence. His journey to survival is fraught with danger, with each moment threatening his very existence. Yet, deep down, he holds onto the hope of reclaiming his lost memories and escaping the grip of his manipulated reality.
