Elric Mervinger is the heir of a once-renowned wizarding family, but he cannot use magic because of a rare medical condition. While searching for a cure for his illness, he encounters the demon Mephistopheles, who attempts to possess Elric in order to break free from a dragon's trap. However, Elric ends up absorbing Mephistopheles instead, forging a bond between the two. With Mephisto by his side, will this newfound power help Elric bring his family back to its former greatness, or will he ultimately be consumed?
