The story unfolds in a realm where deities exist, a world suspended above the sky and beneath the ocean. Four malevolent gods once upheld this world as pillars, but they fled, taking all the other minor gods from that realm with them. In response, individuals known as Kashikan emerged. Their duty is to capture the escaped gods and restore stability to the land. The protagonist, Ichiyou, is a Kashikan who reluctantly accepted this role to secure his foster father's freedom. His foster father, a tiger, was seized to serve as a replacement for the four absconded gods. Ichiyou's primary goal is to recapture the evil gods and reclaim the peaceful life he once enjoyed.
