Although Lee Lily's childhood aspiration of becoming a princess seems out of reach due to her ordinary looks, she discovers her passion in crafting children's apparel. Ultimately, her occupation leads to her downfall, as she overworks herself to death at age 30. Lily is reborn into what seems to be the story of Snow White as the tale's antagonist—the cruel and vain Queen Abigail Freidkin. Now inhabiting Abigail's body, Lily desires to befriend her stepdaughter Blanche, a kind girl and her latest source of inspiration. However, this proves challenging, as Blanche is afraid of her stepmother. Additionally, Sabrian—the current king and Abigail's husband—may be an outstanding ruler, but as a father and spouse, he is indifferent and inattentive. Though she does not care for Sabrian, Abigail will stop at nothing to mend the fractured bond between the Freidkins and ensure her stepdaughter receives the happiest possible ending.
