In the Gokurakugai district, where humans and lower-class beastmen—beings with both human and animal traits—coexist, dangerous creatures called maga emerge from the corpses of humans and animals, causing a series of mysterious disappearances daily. The Gokurakugai Troubleshooter Agency, a small office with only two members, the calm Tao and the sharp-witted young Alma, takes on private investigations and missing person searches for paying clients. Yet their real goal is hidden: to investigate the disturbing cases tied to maga and methodically eliminate these entities.
