Following their graduation exam, Teito experiences flashes of a hidden memory and impulsively attacks the chief of staff, Ayanami. Severely punished for his actions, Teito is imprisoned for questioning. With Mikage’s aid, he escapes to the Barsburg Church in the Seventh District to avoid capture. While on the run, Teito recovers lost memories and uncovers a powerful force concealed within the empire.
