In this fantasy tale, the connection between a beast tamer and the strongest cat girl begins from the moment they first cross paths! Rein, a beast tamer who relies on animals in battle, had been a long-standing member of the hero's party. Unknown to him, his lack of other skills was holding his teammates back. "You're useless except for taming beasts. You're out." With those words, he was cast out of the group. At that point, Rein lost all interest in saving the world and chose to live for himself. When he started his new life as an adventurer, he encountered a girl from the cat tribe—a race considered among the superior beings. Meanwhile, the hero's party had no idea that they had only been able to fight the Demon King's army thanks to Rein's power all along... This story follows how the downtrodden beast tamer found his destined companions and forged bonds with each of them.
